This unique collaboration highlighted their innovative techniques and creative dialogues, enriching the vibrant artistic community of Mashiko. The artists had the chance to explore the cultural importance of pottery in Mashiko, Japan, using local materials and connecting with local potters.

Hihi! Do u highly recommend this Oku Nikko ryokan? Am considering if should stay overnight or just day trip? ;)
Oku Nikko is great place for a relaxing stay and enjoying onsen. A day trip is also a good way to spend your time if you just want to do sightseeing. 🙂
@@VeniceAka is it convenient to navigate around sightseeing places around this hotel ryokan?
@@heyawesome7627 The bus stop is very close to hotel Shikisai which is really convenient. Walking to the sightseeing areas like lake Chuzenji cruise is possible(45mins🚶🏻♂️), but I don’t recommend it because you’ll have to walk on the main road at some areas and it’s a bit of a hazard.
hi, is it worth it to i staycation in nikko for one day? is it easy i come from tokyo to get to nikko?
There are a lot of tourists who do a day trip to Nikko from Tokyo. There are direct trains from Asakusa and Shinjuku via To u Railway, here are the time tables www.tobu.co.jp/en/_assets_l/pdf/timetable1out.pdf?20230320

Hi thank you for watching. I stayed there from opening at 9AM till like around 3PM because I had to wait for events like the Oiran Parade and the ninja performance in the afternoon.
