I haven't posted my Gargoyle gecko in a while. I've had her for 7 years now. "Garlou" is a sweety. She often comes to the front of her enclosure when she sees me near, wanting to come out. I open it and she crawls right onto my hand 😆. Here she is, just being chill.

"Buggy" is usually super lazy and chill but was very defensive of her enclosure today, so I had to watch my fingers! She may have layed some dud eggs that I haven't found yet.

My sweet baby green bean, Olivine. Olivine is a 7 year old leachianus gecko (New Caledonian giant gecko). This is the largest species of living gecko. Olivine is actually a smaller type/locale. I found this older video from 2018. I don't remember why that cup was in there. Maybe I was adding new isopods. You can see here, she's a very curious girl. I think these geckos are pretty intelligent. You can just see her wheels turning as she is trying to figure out what is this new thing in her house 😂

That's a big gecko! She's actually one of the smaller locales of the species, believe it or not (Locale is which island they come from in New Caledonia.) Some types are double her size! Olivine has an amazing temperment for a Leachianus gecko. Sweet sweet girl 🥰. I raised her from a 4 month old hatchling. She will be 7 years old in a couple of months!

a leachianus gecko! people in the hobby call them "leachies" for short. they're the largest living gecko species and they're really rad 😊
