I got a tip for legend mode too. when you are in the flashback chapter and have to do the fight there. pick up a nearby bike in the flashback you have none of your upgrades but bikes do good damage and will clean the fight out

about open riichi its like normal riichi, only you show your entire hand to your opponents so basically you either need someone to force discard the tile you need or you win by drawing it. there are no alternatives.

I rather play something really bland like Half-Life 2 than whatever else comes out from Asia, or whatever gimmicky garbage, or consoles, especially Nintendo games. Nintendo as a company and games are the epitome of soy, soullessness, and are mentally exhausting. It requires insanity. Half-Life 2 is in comparison a GOD. Blandness has more soul than anything that has soul does. Nintendo literally sells overglorified boxes. I hate video games. I don't want to see any mods of Half-Life that turn it into something actually more soulless than it ever was. Blandness is what a real craft is. Everybody who used to craft things of value have all gone to craft things of meaningless things like video games. THE AUDIENCE IS NORMIES THOUGH SADLY, but sometimes, there's a normalgod in there. Kinda sad to see. I think a hat in time is easily in my top 3 3D platformers. Only really behind mario galaxy. But I think it has the most fun bosses I've ever fought in any platformer. That includes metroidvanias.

Those people complaining about the saving system requiring resources have never played a classic Resident Evil game. To be honest, that sounds like people not really paying attention to the environment and what's going on. Managing your energy in Ori is easy, and there's blue crystals everywhere to replenish it enough to get a cell to save. I don't know, I never had much of an issue with Ori and its difficulty, the only areas that felt a bit annoying were the escape sequence in Forlorn Ruins and the final section of the game because of how much trial and error it involved, yet still it's one of my favourite games of all time. I feel the other way about Hollow Knight, actually, it's a game I didn't enjoy, the controls felt stiff, it was confusing, and the saving system was even worse than Ori with being forced to save on a bench and then backtrack to whatever you were trying to do, that repetition really got to me at one point, which makes people comparing Ori to Hollow Knight and complaining about the saving even funnier to me. But yeah, both are different games and they appeal to a different kind of gamer.

You misinterpreted what the person at 2:10 was saying. He wasn't talking about the loudness of the guns, but the fact that the bullets feel like they lack impact and weight because enemies don't really react to getting shot, and I agree with him.

I really have no negative things to say on a hat in time, to me and in my opinion the game is just fine but there’s one small thing I could say that I dislike about the game, I have to swap out one of my badges that make my gameplay more accessible just to access camera mode? That’s kinda goofy ngl

Honestly I’m surprised no review was shown of the massive “controversy” that happened on release surrounding a certain side character in the bird world with literally like 1 line having a VA who had a major controversy at the time due to racism. (unless you just opted not to include it but considering you did the OTHER big (and dumb) controversy of the flag I doubt it)

Another thing that bugs me about HL2 is that I don't think the Combine even EXISTED in even concept form until HL1 wrapped, because Marc Laidlaw had to suddenly write a major antagonist alien species for HL2, so it feels as if it was thrown together in a rush. Which is BAD.

Half-Life 2 is NOT a masterpiece, it is highly OVERRATED. The physics puzzles are a gimmick, Alyx Vance is an annoying NPC to have following you around, and the less said about the long airboat sections, the better. It also severely disappointed me, as I could not get up on street level during Root Kanal to see the traffic, nor could I do the other "full freedom" things the game said I could do. The only saving grace of the game is the Combine, which are interesting antagonists, but apart from them, I would not give HL2 the time of day.

My complaint about HL2 are simples: 1) HL1 gameplay feels way more fun than HL2 gameplay. It's not just guns(but guns too), it's also enemy pool, level design being more close quarters, only 1 vehicle stage(as supposed to TWO in HL2... And those last LONG) And 2) HL2 drags at places. HL1 drags a bit too but waaaay less. Idk, besides On The Rail, and half of the Xen chapters, HL1 felt tight and smooth experience with little to no drag(except on the rails, interloper and boring Xen) but HL2 has way more drag levels, the water car level, the car level, the sand "the floor is lava" level, the citadel level taking away yo guns and generally being boring. However despite so much critique of HL2, I still liked HL2, sure it's worse than HL1, but it's still damn good game and J find it hard to give it a bad score

Im actually scared to make fanart- considering the VA for Snatcher got copywrite struck for using the character to stream!

Pirate software/Thor made a short about the situation with mac ports for steam games: apple is a pain in the fish, if you want to use their software you need to get a mac hardware. then you need a license who cost every year some stuff. then you need to make a new code as mac only runs on xcode and if it fails, you need to ask again for the license key. you don't need to pay, but you need to ask and do the whole code again so yeah, a lot of work so your game can work on a overpriced mobile phone (even so some phones are probally better as mac pcs)

I'm surprised that you didn't find more things about Seal the Deal. As someone who played both the base game and DLC 1 near the times of their release, I personally found both the new chapter and death wishes to be pretty underwhelming, and given the mixed reviews the DLC has on Steam I'm certain I'm not alone in this, so I was expecting a few of those to show up here.

I personally don't think that A Hat in Time is a game that is meant to kids. If I had 7-year old kids, I would not have prevented them from playing it, but I would not recommend it them - something like Queen Vanessa's Manor may be just a bit too much. I myself would give the game 10+ -ish as a rating, though I lack any sort of competence in this question so probably I'm wrong

My only complaint is the Battle of the Birds Parade section, there was SO much going on and i even died the exact same time he revealed the time glass

6:42 I believe that the update was on pc first because they would have to alternate things for dlc to run smoothly on different platforms like the switch can’t run as well and has less storage then a pc but it has easily accessible games and some special games only playable on switch (unless you use a emulator but I don’t think it’s easy to extract a game cartridge)

I have no idea why someone would want to change the keybinds. They actually did an incredibly good job at mapping the default in a way thats very intuitiv in my opinion. At least i had never problems with it. Also the instant kill traps are eliviated by the manual save system that lets u save when ever u want basicly creating emulator save states. Sure its costly in the beginning but the benefit far outweigh the cost and with time and upgrades it becomes a non issue. I literally save every few meters in the final dungeon just to be safe. I think many of those people go at the game with a the wrong mindset expecting things the game doesnt offer. Like playing Digimon and expecting Pokemon gameplay. Both are technicly Monster Catch Games but they are fundamentaly different in their design and those expectations will just ruin the fun of the game.

yeah, uh, a dead body with a knife in its back laying in a pool of blood, even if cartoony, is a lot for a 7 year old. some kids will be _really_ freaked out by that. it's not them being "sheltered," it's them being children who have only been alive for 7 years and who have no exposure to anything like that. this is why the game is rated T. it's not _for_ 7 year olds. "this person's kid must be sheltered" is something you say about a kid who's freaked out by something that's normal to be exposed to at their age. not pools of blood!

I thought the enemies were too spongy in this game on easy with swordsman style, although I never used those cards for buffs.
