Filming of the last few weekends of loco hauled services into and out of Newquay.
Footage includes 50 036, 47 459, a Class 142 and 50 026. I shot the film but sadly the reel ran out just before the arrival of the first InterCity 125 into Newquay and the departure of the last loco on Sunday 4th October 1987.
The next day the signal box, signalling and ticket office were put out of use (last Station Master Stan May) leaving only platform 2 operational with platform 3 as a siding.
