I hate when i was learning Russian in 2015, was not for me, European Portuguese native. But Ukranians look at all grammar mistakes, danm, they have high god level of arrogance, lol.

2:48 Actually I want a tea would be "Я хочу чаю" because "чай" should be in genetive case in this specific sentence. In most cases like I love tea a tea would be just чай the same with I like tea "я люблю чай" I drink tea "я п'ю чай" Thank you for your work!

my grandfather was a farmer on the border between poland and ukraine he was raised during there war where the border would change locations daily so he was technically born in poland but his parents where ukranian and spoke ukraine i only ever met him while he was in a nursing home when i was a barely concious child he slipped on black ice walking his dog and from then on he was unable to speak at all he would just mumble stuff in different pitches even to this day i can still see him and hear it clearly him mumbling to me of how much he loved me and how happy he was that he got to see me before he died and recently ive been feeling low and felt learning his native language would draw me closer to my motherland and bring me closer to my grandfathers heart

honestly not that bad coming from someone who's first language is Polish...I feel like with Slavic languages, once you master one you can easily learn the rest of them which is so satisfying.

In the Halychyna dialect spoken in diaspora, we don't use "у мене є". It is a borrowing from russian. We use "я маю" as a form of the verb "мати" and it conjugates the same as other verbs.
