Are you guys in eastern Washington? I just adopted a ram sheep and I have about 3 acres that he’s gonna be on so I tried to quarantine him into one small area half of the pasture was Barbwire fence. The other half I did poly tape Fence mind you I’m just starting my first Homestead and I was not expecting to adopt this animal this quick but it just kind of happened so I’m trying to do my best When I got him yesterday he looked like he was gonna be OK in the pasture since it’s large enough, he proved me wrong. He literally looked at me, looked at people that dropped him off as they took off and then went right through the Barbwire fence so my question is it’s getting ready to get in a winter here so the ground is gonna start freezing. It’s just me I don’t have time to put in a huge fence. Are you guys located in eastern Washington I’m in Colville Washington or do you guys have a sister company that’s in this area that would be able to come out and help me install a fence like this on half of my pasture to keep him in.? i’m desperate right now he’s in my woodshed. I’m keeping him comfortable with food and water, but I really wanted to give him the freedom of being in the pasture but if he gets loose again, I won’t be able to catch him. It took me 2 1/2 hours last night with my neighbor to try to catch him

Let’s say the fence is an 8’ High Game fence. How long should your top rail be in that case? I’m sure 20’ wouldn’t be the answer 😅

What is the PSI rating of the high tensile smooth wire that you guys are using in this installation? I was thinking to purchase the 179K PSI Reddie Reel that's on your website but wasn't sure if that's what I should use or if I should use the 200K PSI smooth wire that sold as a 2000' coil. Please advise. Thank you!

Great detail thanks. One question, if I’m bracing my corner posts tomorrow with 12 g twitch wire, and I have the strainright ratcheting tensioners but I don’t have crimps yet, is there a safe way to tie off the wire on the other side of the ratcheting tensioner other than a crimp….? I don’t have a gripple either. Thanks :)

I'm confused about when I should use a single H vs a double H. I was told I should use a double H at every termination point even though my longest pull is 88' and the total fenced-in section is only .3 acre. I will be using the Bekaert Hi-Tensile Goat Fence. Is it true that every termination, gate, and corner should use a Double H?

2 per corner. If its a square corner then they will be 90 degrees from each other in the direction of the fence.

So you leave the in line strainer on each h post?! What if you have 20 h posts in your complete fence? You purchase 20 in line strainers? Wish you had made these more clear.

Load of BS. Been a million corner or end post's made up with number 9 wire and a stick or steel rod! don't need to figure 8 just wrap around the posts, drive staples in loose and shove a stick in between the wires and twist. Put the stick in where one end will hit the horizontal so it can't release. Tore out many barbwire fences that were built like this and they lasted till the wire was rusted into.

If you can make this available for me to pickup in one of my areas, I will buy it and I would guess that a lot of others would also. I am not a fencing contractor and not going to hire one. Regular guys want access to fencing so we can do it ourselves. Not available in my area. Will buy cheap crap 6’ welded wire if I have to. Been looking for over 2 years. No luck unless I pay $250 to have it shipped to me.

Do you have a supplier in the Houston or San Antonio area that can supply fencing for me to pickup? I am not a fencing expert, but looking for 6’ tall tied wire 4” x 2”. This fencing isn’t available anymore for consumers that I can find and have done a lot of searching for several months. Not available for a couple of years at Tractor Supply or any others that I know of. Will buy if reasonable for 300’ fence that I will install myself with my own hands. C’mon. How can a regular guy get fencing today? Not going to pay someone to do what I can do myself if I can find material…
