Kept waiting to see steam come out of your ears after round 9, your face was so red. But as a bonus for me your system glitched during round 4 so I got to hear more of the music (round 4 is my favorite). This game captivated every male I knew when it first came out. I used to play some of the spin-offs where you play as some sort of mage.

They should've got Kenny Loggins in to play one of the actors. They could have given him a bunch of cheesy lines.

My friends and I used to play NFL 2k5 where we would call it the 2k5 Challenge and anytime that we would give up a touchdown, the other person would have to take a shot of whiskey. The final scores would always have over 50 points. I feel your pain. Love this episode! Keep up the great work!

I remember the real Jeff George as a QB with a rocket arm but not so accurate, so good job keeping it real (And Tecmo Bowl Christian Okoye was notoriously difficult to tackle)

i have ben a seahawks fan sence i was 9 years old back in 1976. and i know the players on this game. i was 20 when Tecmo bowl was out and 22 when this game Tecmo super bowl was out. and i was not so good ether Tony. but it is a fun game . so right on and game on my friend, 😁🏈🏈

First time I saw Tecmo Bowl at a friend's house, I sat staring... just blown away. We had Football on Atari... really needed to use your imagination.

I bet Fluff secretly set up that scorpion wheel challenge.

This game is so much fun. Only 3 stages yet a lot of people never see the final boss! And it would take a little while for me to realize how many lines come straight out of Robocop! SO... when do you revisit for level 2? :D

This game blew my 14 year old mind - it just didn't seem possible compared to other games at the time.

Classic game indeed. The sound effects are better on these newer machines than when I first played. I don't know what the deal was with my PC back then, but most of the sounds cut out early.

I went to a drive in car show last weekend with my 1st gen Camaro club and when I was walking around the town square looking at cars I noticed a hot sauce shop. They had just about every sauce I have seen on this channel on the shelves, I couldn't take them all home but got some Aardvark and Ass in the E.R.

You stooge voice was great. The scream he made at the soup was silly, very stoogish. Shame about those kids.

Not a bad game, really. There is also a Top Gun on the Gamecube that might be a fun play in the future...

I love how they cheaped out on a military consultant, Raven somehow has her highest award as a presidential unit citation, meaning she somehow made it through at least 4 years of service and got to Top Gun without a single personal award. Stinger has a Navy Commendation medal but no NAM which is technically possible but very unlikely, a JO's first award would be an Achievement Medal. There was a scene where they were all wearing their garrison caps indoors, which you would not do, one of the Lieutenants appears to have Commander insignia on his cover, and also as pilots they would be wearing flight suits in the ready room anyway, not Khakis.

What made a lot of these games fun was the cheesy FMV movies that they put into them.

When you get better at this game maybe do a class on it. I would definitely love to see that

There's something about the art style and the vaguely realistic look for Curly in that cracker eating contest I find a bit unsettling, honestly.

I never played this on NES but at the Ice Rink where I played Hockey there was an arcade that had this and I would often play it after practice. It had steering wheels which I imagine made it easier than an NES controller.

You described my exact experience with this game - a rental that me and a friend played like a co-op game exactly how you described with your brother - we called the interference player the "blocker"

sure doesn't seem like the other drivers have any motivation to win, they drive so slow.

$63 for fries may seem ridiculous until you consider it covers all your meals for a week which, okay, is actually ridiculous.

This show has ruined the way I look at hot sauce. Not this episode, but the channel in general. I once saw the sauce as something to dab lightly onto food. Now... I sip. And love it. So thanks for that.

And the people who love Scorpion love it because it's crazy heat with a real nice flavor. I love the stuff, lol. Goes great on eggs or coating chicken wings with it! ...just plan to be near a bathroom the entire following day. 🤣

It's fun seeing early NES releases still hanging to having a score. If it meant a free life every so many points, I would be down. Otherwise, just seems "pointless"... (I'm a dad, I get to make such terrible jokes 😂). That said, later releases, such as SMB3 made great use of points. I'm so glad the tips helped! Much better game once you understand its quirks. Also, this game has a talkie version that's pretty great, you will definitely recognize some of the voices from other sierra games.

So awesome you rocked this one on a spicy night! I used to play this all the time on 4 player with my sis and 2 super awesome cousins. Later I would play it with my ex from 2020 and a bunch of other friends. Such a great game! I found the best strat was get the best job possible immediately at Monolith Burgers while getting your college on. Save up as much as possible, especially each week before the 4th week since rent's due every 4th week. Once you can, get a bank job. Get a freezer, buy actual groceries from Black's Market then end the day working and put everything in savings so you don't spend anything between turns. Just never withdraw everything cause you'll randomly get robbed leaving the bank. Keep getting your learn on till you have the top bank job, buy so much sweet swag. The only place to get the Encyclopedia from is Z-Mart, which is there randomly. Relax here and there, and you'll be good. Lol of course this game is super unrealistic cause there's no hot sauce, alcohol, or terrible ex's to set you back to start.
