manufacturers are stupid, this is exactly what I was worried about .... grub screw basically welded into these stock motors, I'm trying to do this on an MJX truck but the motor mount is plastic so I can basically use no heat. think i'll just buy a blank motor to practice with

I'm using some Hoovo 4200mAh 120C batteries that fit pretty well without modifying anything. I stripped out my 2 motor mount screws holding the motor to the inner mount plus I stripped the set screw on the pinion so I ordered up a new motor and inner mount to try out the high speed gearing. I love this little truck! Stock gearing is plenty fast for me at the moment. I don't 'bash' like a lot of the videos you see on YT launching their RCs full speed off skate ramps. I don't want to break my $200 toy...

I have a couple of these trucks. In the united states , they go by the brand Legendary Nitro or imex . They are not great trucks even with all the aluminum parts. They're good for what they are But they definitely are not Super durable Or built for bashing in my opinion. You definitely push the limits of these trucks Respect

I've found best results with CNHL Batteries .U will really gain 5 to 10 miles an hr with them...
