WD40 works great for removing sticker residue. I’ve used it many many times. Spray on, let sit, wipe off, repeat.

How do you remove ANC pins? Do they simply come out if pulled on? Do I need special tool?

Are you sure, illumination was on pin 8 not pin 9?

I had the same issue no plywood on house but we had removed a window right where I’m hanging Tv so they used plywood to cover the old window cut out . Do you think I need to hit a stud for tv mount or the plywood will support it ? It’s a 65” tv .

ok, I just did this. Couple things to help everyone out.. if you compress the springs just enough until loose to get out the OEM shocks you will not be able to get the top shock rod to poke through the top shock mount. You need to compress that spring until it gives you clearance to get the shock rod through the top mount and you can get the nut on. Approx 3 inches of exposed threaded rod on coil compression tools. Bilstein is painfully slow in helping you if you call/text them. If you don't have an impact gun I wouldn't even start it unless you like to fight with everything. Once the coil is compressed and you have to remove the top shock nut in the mount, everything will just spin unless you have the power of an impact socket to spin the nut off. If you don't, you need to use a wrench to hold the top of the rod and then find something to back the nut off. The nut is recessed so nearly impossible to get ahold of it. I recommend using a spray lubricant before even trying. My truck is brand new and the nut was still a pain. To be honest most nuts are a pain without an impact gun. Sway bars, tie rod end both need a way of holding the bolt when tightening the nut. If you don't have a pass through socket set to do both it can be tricky. I certainly appreciate the video, would never attempt without it. This kind person even helped me when I reached out on a holiday weekend. Thanks man!! I just want you to know this upgrade isn't for everyone and a second set of hands is appreciated. Also if you don't have deep sockets that fit all these nuts buy them. Don't wait, just buy them. You need them. Good luck!

Did you have to compress the spring even farther to get the nut on top of the new shock? Because you moved the bottom coil mount up approx 2 inches that means the top of the shock doesn't stick through the top bucket.

Do I need to disconnect the battery? Chance of ruining electrical system is fairly low correct?

The front valence that you wrapped under the bumper, how did you remove that to wrap it? I can’t find instructions anywhere online for that. I am looking to wrap or replace it…but want to make sure I can remove ha. Not as handy as you!

I've been trying to cure the dim projector low beams of my 2017 Limited. I switched to LED bulbs, but it was only marginally better. Come to find out the likely issue is that the reflective coating in the project goes dull over time, thereby vastly reducing the output. The reflective coating inside the projector is very thin (only a few microns) and degrades over time from the heat of the halogen bulbs. No matter what LED bulbs I install, I'm going have that issue unless I replace the actual projector units themselves. I decided to replace the headlight housings with the downgraded reflector-style headlights that were also offered on the Expedition. They are a bit less expensive than buying new projector headlight housings, and hopefully won't suffer the same degradation over time.

Great video! This will be my next upgrade on my 21 Rebel in Billet Silver. I have been wanting to do it after watching WF41 do his, but just haven't got around to doing it. I upgraded to a Borla S Type and it's perfect. The ATAK was a bit much for me. Like you, I live in PA and deal with the salt and brine in the winter. I took the plunge and had mine fully rustproofed with New Hampshire Oil Undercoating (NHOU) and happy I did. Hopefully the top nut on the strut isn't corroded like yours were. Anyway, thanks again and for the details in the description box!

You mentioned you would do the trim illusion pieces on the side windows instead of vinyl, do you think those pieces on the side would hold up better than vinyl? Thinking of having mine done vinyl at a shop as I dont trust myself ha but the trim illusions do look nice, just curious your thoughts for the side window ones.

I have the same kit on my 2018 SL.. Looks really good but ruined the ride quality. Horrible feeling when driving over speed bumps and road joints on the freeway.

I'm in the process of upgrading to Bilstein 6112 and RC UCA to level my Rebel. When looking at the 6112 specs, it was mentioned that to get a 2" lift, it needs to be at the 8th circlip. The 5th circlip will only raise it by 0.8". Does the 5100 have the same lift height specs? I don't want a reverse rake.
