Hi. What silicon adhesive did you use? And do you have to tank the bathroom as well? Is that necessarily?
My go to silicone is Dowsil 785 . The best grab adhesive I use comes direct from multi panel. But plenty of others work well. Fix all is a good all rounder. I do find white adhesives grab better than clear 🤷 personally I would say no need to tank as the boards are 100% waterproof!
What’s a decent brand for boarding guys? Any recommendations?
Hi. Iv been using multi panel for around 8 years now with no major issues. There is a lot of different makes out there now but that’s just what we use. Hollow plastic ones I tend to buy from gap or eurocell.
Nice job bud, I always cut those cheap panels upside down to avoid the scratching
Thanks. Good idea mate!
Wish I’d used silicone 😂 Mine are NEVER coming off! Have left it on and stuck Dumawall tiles over it.
😂 so you have panelled on top of panels? 😂
Very plasticy
Some say plastics fantastic! 😂
Hi mate how can i get in touch with you to get my bathroom done i live in Twickenham
Sorry mate. I’m based in Eastbourne and don’t like travelling anymore! Good luck. Hope you manage to get someone local to do it
Dreadful
I know!
horrible camera work, just use a gimble or tripod, and so that the whole thing comes in to view
What about the shower screen for the bath? Did you fit one and did you screw straight into the board?
Tricky getting a good fixing into hollow panelling. We normally try and put wood behind all fixing points. If not an option. Plasterboard fixings and silicone
That’s bad lol. Should’ve been a wet dash and take it further. That’s bare
Apologies if it hurt your eyes to watch 😂
@ I’m not paying so don’t bother me mate 😂
To be honest. I thought as a window fitter I done a great job 😂 Luckily I found little stones in the garden or it would have had a smooth finish 😜
Oh dear, no tanking around the bath, careless use of the saw and not bothered that he scratched the customers panels, using the bath as a storage receptacle for heavy objects and so proud he shows it all off on youtube.
lol
😂 what tanking would have you done around the bath? The toilet in the bath is doing no harm. It’s actually a fantastic idea to weigh the bath down to make sure no movement in the future! This is one of my properties so no customers involved. So please don’t worry.
Brother why didn't you bubble wrap the toilet and then the bath.
@Mobile-pd1uc I’ve never damaged a bath or toilet. So no need in this! If I am fitting high end stuff I would use more protection.
what panels are these please
Cheap hollow ones. Overall 11mm thick I think. Replaced with multi panel
Where are you based? Do you want to do my bathroom?
What happens to that material with deep cleaning products ie bleach etc is it not going to de colour or warp the material over time or do you have to use specific cleaning products when doing a deep clean once fitted etc 👍🏻
Hi. Thanks for commenting. My Mrs uses lime scale remover on ours at home. Which is fine on ours The panels are very easy to clean. Different brands recommend different products. So worth double checking
You didn't show us what you mortar you used.
Sorry mate. It was a special ready mix supplied by the company we bought the brick slips from.
Caulk inside corners.
Yes that is an option. Hard to get a nice straight line with caulk on these beveled tiles
How do I screw fittings tight on pvc panels without crushing them? Thanks in advance.
Can be done. Iv never had any issues. As long as the wall behind is solid, it shouldn’t crush unless over tightened
@everlastbuilders great thanks 🙂👍
World with beautiful awesome and helpful lads . Cheers
This video gives me vertigo 😮
😂😂 😵💫😵💫😵💫
hi you played with gazza my dad
I doo 💚💚💚💚💚🏉🏉🏉🏉
How much did it cost it please?? Love yoir videos
Sorry for late reply. Labour £500 1 day Materials £50 Scaffolding varies Hope that helps
I just wanted to do one wall with this around sink and all of the sink wall. Do you know what to use on edge as wall probably will not be straight. Thanks
Probably end cap.
Or a white quadrant ?
@@everlastbuilders I think I will go with a white quadrant at both sides of the wall. Thanks for the help i appropriate it.
Dear god no. asbestos!!!! get it tested and do not scrape
😝
Trusscore looks like better stuff, agree?
Looks good. But iv never used it so can not confirm buddy
Yee Haw 🤠
You shouldn’t let the felt go into gutter you need eaves trays and felt cut back . The membrane ,felt , is a moisture barrier for any condensation that forms on the back of the tile and between back of tile and membrane ,felt not the actual water proofing as that’s the job of the tile , I should look for cracked or broken tiles letting in water onto the felt further up the roof That old IF felt is old style not used today
That isn't a ridge 😂😂😂😂
Mono ridge?
Very useful tutorial. Thanks so much for sharing. I've recently recleaned my Marley roof tiles. Absolutely thick with moss. Having manually removed the majority of the moss - 8 black bin bags, roughly half full - I sprayed it with 15% bleach twice - and will now paint over with clear acrylic sealant. I can see that there has been a degree of water ingress and, having watched your video, understand that the underfelt must have rotted away, and will need replacing.
Spot on lads great video, essy to follow and no nonsense 👏
Np trays! It'll always F up like this.
How long does it take to dry. Unexpected shower 3 hours after applying and it washed off - big brown puddle! No instructions on the can but they were talking about 3 coats - think I'll have to wait till next summer 😅
Oh no that’s annoying! There is quick drying black jack available. Which says it can dry in 4 hours everbuild do one. Think tool station sell it. Good luck
😳
Would you put the silver coving up first or the corner strips?
Corner strip then work your way round the room
Please redo this video with different lighting
Good job under constrained and awkward access conditions. Please keep safe for you family and kids Sir. The 40 or so mm headlap on the shallow roof pitch is a dire testimony to the original building design. It should be maybe 75 to 80mm. When was it built? Kind regards.
Thanks you mate. Not sure when it was built. Definitely not that old. I know it’s crazy. Let’s build a house on top of a hill by the sea and put a crap pitch on the roof😂 .
Nice job, I’d deffo have a tower with handrails though, that bit made me cringe.
I’m so used to it! But yes you are right sir! I should
@@everlastbuilders only said that cos I’ve been on site when someone has fallen from height, not pretty & easily avoidable.
This is very helpful - cheers, fortunately havea rail plunge saw - essential piece of kit
Good luck mate
Can i glue that board over old tiles in my bathroom?
@@snakes111b yes you can
You dont actually show how to install these panels.
Redland Delta- that brings back vertical flue install memories....
Hmmm … dodgy
Great video mate. Would be good if you went into more detail when making and cutting stuff instead of fast forwarding. You could have made 3 or 4 videos concentrating on individual jobs 👍🏻
Hi Pal, what is the product you are using there please? dx
Sorry bro. Can’t remember. I bought them from euro cell I believe. Also GAP sell them to
Too fast and hasn’t kept promise to leave supplier of units….
Gotta love a man who appreciates a second pair of hands even if they aren't up doing the same work as you. Doing this stuff alone is tedious as fuck when you've got to hop up and down for materials and tools.
Very true. I do like to take a second person on most jobs.
Can these panels be stuck to artex walls (no asbestos just lumpy plaster)
Don’t have to be strong just waterproof.
If they get holes that easy it may be waterproof but not water tight. A huge mould problem before you know it.
@kellyp8958 😟
Is the product breathable?
@@UA-camuser1_me I would say no. It’s a really thick and goes rubber like when dry.
@@everlastbuilders thank you, so its possible for the moisture to be trapped?
😂😂😂
Any chance you can remember which panels the first ones were you’ve shown in this video please? As in; the name of the “design” as such?
@@stefaniecreten6011 hey concrete elements. By multipanel i think
