Eww…fungus in the dreads
GYATTTTTTT (she can ruin me anyday)
have you ever crocheted it a bit before you twisted? or no, gotta pick one or the other?
Not gonna lie, I think the commentary alone makes this my favorite video so far on making these lol
What is the reasoning for the straightener and cloth?
Class love it! Nice and easy way 🎉❤❤❤
Love it
You gotta stop calling them "Dreads" call them locs...I cringe every time. Nothing " Dreadful" about them
Best voice over ever! 😂💜
Where do you get your dreads and black hair dye. I can never find a dark enough black.
Same with the monkey feets 🤣🤣 every time
I like your narration:)
HEY BEAUTIFUL I HAVE A ? FOR YOU PLEASE WHERE DO YOU PURCHASE YOUR KANEKALON PLEASE I NEED A NEW SUPPLIER ALSO I LOVE THIS SET 💚🖤💚
your .....dreading....the narration lol. in all seriousness though thanks for the video, super helpful
How many DE dreads did you use for your whole head? Thanks!
Do you make and sell these? It just seems like so much work.
I have watched this a hundred times and I have no idea what I’m doing wrong but mine keep sipping despite doing what you said to twist the strands at the base 😭🤯
I'm a few years late but it's nice to see dreads installed without help so I can try
You are so adorable I wish you still made videos cause I just bought my first set of dreads!
You wash your hair with the Dreads on?
these look amazing. Can you use any hair extensions or are there specific types.
How are you so good at putting them in the back?! I struggle so hard
I think using those long metal clips would help hold it in place while it's being tied on
you did great!!! thanks for the explanation
I know this video is 4 years old lol, but just stumbled upon it as I’m growing out my undercut and it’s at an awkward length and wanted dreads to help Disguise it while it grows thank you for sharing this I ordered my supplies and will be here tomorrow!
I dont know why I cant seem to get the hang of this. It's so hard at the back of my head
Dreadlock community is so offended right now 🙃😂
Thank you for this video I'm sitting here with all this hair ready and this just made this so much easier
Not to discredit the work, but she got me a bit distracted i gotta say
Nice feet
Omg you have dahlia bites too
And your bf is named chris like mine lmaoooooo he's "Khris" tho
COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW LONG THIS LAST IN YOUR HAIR?
With proper care, they can last a long time. You should take them out every 8-12 weeks, clean and detox the locs, also clean and detox your natural hair, then when everything is dry you can reinstall. While you're wearing them you can use dread shampoo to wash your natural hair+ the locs. There are lots of videos on here of how people care for them, and what products they use.
How long do these last? And can I reuse them?
Hi welcome To chili’s they usually last 3-4 weeks. I still watch my hair with them in . They are reusable and I usually give them a good wash before putting them back in my hair ☺️
@@fairybunz8583 thank you so much for answering me beautiful, I just made some two days ago I finished them last night, and I’m about to dye my hair black and put them in, thank you again.
Thank you Imma do this because I don’t have 200 dollars to spend on a full set of DE dreads
Girl look more like a mannequin than the mannequin
She looks like a doll
I just really love watching these types of videos, waiting on my kenekalon to get here so I can make my own hehe, super helpful though, I've seen a couple of people using the steam method and it seems like it works really well, and makes them last longer
Dude you are so awesome I love your voice over 🤘🏼🖤 thanks for helping me learn to make my own dreads ❤️
How many DE dreads did it take for to do your whole head?
Thank you
jade headass
We love a black queen 👩🏿👩🏿👩🏿👩🏿👩🏿👩🏿👩🏿👩🏿👩🏿😍
That looks like a rats nest. I just twist and ripped my hair last year and it never looked like that....?
Mrs. Niner I haven’t crocheted it yet. That’s why it looks like this , plus it’s a mannequin which will obviously have a different hair texture than yours
Should I do this everyday
No. Once you do it you shouldn't have to do it again unless the meds unraveled. I started my last set with twist and rip and after the initial process i palm roll newgrowth once a week with talijah wiijad or something like that loc it up gel. Get metal clips (bot Bobby pins) to hold your newgrowth when you retwist and blow dry it until it's dry at the root and then take the clips out.
Mrs. Niner yoo can I show u my hair on Instagram or something and tell me if I’m doing it right
@@Kanja-man i don't have social media other than this. Just use a quarter sized amount of loc gel and apply it to your dread and palm roll in one direction. Put the clip about half an inch from your root so that it holds it in place and let it air dry or blow dry it. And that's your maintenance. You can use sea salt water spray to keep it tight but you shouldn't have to twist and rip anymore unless your ends are coming loose. If you're white, i had a a friend who used string to tie around theirs to keep them in form. And then cut the strong off. But weekly palm rolling will keep it tight
No but you can always use a crochet hook to tighten and lock the knots. I haven’t yet uploaded a video on that unfortunately
I've made dreads before, but never really liked them, gonna try it again with this method, very helpful so thanks! P.s the narration was lovely <3
Roses are red, violets are blue. I thought my friend looked but goth, but no, it’s you.
Thank u so much this has been the easiest tutorial with the best result My dreads turned out amazing
This may be old but after looking around I think this is the best tutorial still as they look the best made and so clean. <3
2023 and I’m watching it and it’s been the best one IVE SEEN❤ 😊
the amount of weight to your righteously parted hair is horrible - and overly heavy
You’re so concerned abo someone else, it’s not your hair if that’s what she wants she gonna do it you’re just rude and hateful
@Holly Thompson yes Indeed, you are correct.
I will never to dread extension ever ever again -- just dread your own hair then add the nest of hair and crochet
Why do you say that?
I was thinking of doing it, and was curious
