Rare (for this day and age) manual Sprinter minibus. I used to drive Stuart's of Carluke Sprinters (all automatics) on bus routes, they were quite fun especially as the newer ones had bluetooth and DAB in the stereo so you could play music, and the sound systems were decent. One of the older ones (same age like the one in your video) had no speed limiter so was exciting on the country roads, though no bluetooth or DAB on that.

Like a taxi-buslink this van guess, hm?... What kind something more idea is wonder why Private and public for London Bus route van, hm???...

God don't they look ugly, the fairings over the wheels remind you of the LNER A4 Staem locos, they came off due to hindering engineers servicing these loco's so the same will happen here. It is just a bus with wheels covered in nothing to do with a Tram that requires rails., just build a Bus.

tbf, nothing troo stand out. the optare solos were just vans too, not much bigger than the sprinters.

Nice! A lot of non-tfl routes use normal buses like the 146 MMC's to go down roads as tight as this so I believe it would be possible to have the same bus go to Downe still. However the vans pass oncoming traffic a lot easier so that saves the route from delays. Either way interesting to have vans do part of the 146.

Love this route… spends a fair bit of time on the motorway which is cool.

We use these a lot. They are quite whiny, inside and out. Not any quieter than a diesel inside, though much better for the environment.

In Spain is very normal watch these buses around the country. But i think UK its the first conuntry appart from Spain to have these buses.😊
