@upfixauto I have been having 120308 fault code for two years now, I replaced diverter valve, boost solenoid, eccentric shaft actuator, programmed a used DME and a whole turbocharger and the code is still on, the car drives fine but with less power and the infamous drivetrain message. Is this fixable if it's software wise?

Yes if the modules are de-programming due to incorrect battery voltage the PSM can be removed/re-installed without the disconnecting the battery.

There is a soldered-in relay that controls the fuel pump which might explain why replacing the fuse that's removable isn't helping. We should be able to rebuild that for you. That points to a torque error control issue. It would be helpful to know what year, make, and model your vehicle is along with any other DME codes your vehicle currently has. It could be a faulty relay, wiring, CAN-issue, or DME fault.

Yes you can purchase a used one. Just make sure the part number is the same. Then most likely you will need to get it programmed. The benefit of having your original one repaired is that it will be plug-n-play when you get it back.

@@upfixauto In all honesty the NZ Renault dealership is utterly useless, they have even stopped selling the cars locally, they have no parts let alone information to the TCM level. I agree with what you say and I just wish Upfix was closer as I suspect getting to the point of confirming it was repairable let alone actually repairing it is going to be insurmountable not only in cost but time so I've ordered a new one from France direct so I dont have to deal with Renault NZ but thank you for your clear and sensible response.
