@@proTRUMPproREALMADRID it's a cool city!

They so cute
@@MattDelisle-d2h agreed 👍🏻
Blue crustaceans are more rare to find
It was cool to see
say Cuenca Ecuador can drink tap water.
@@BPe-ie9je Indeed, some mountain towns in Ecuador also have drinkable tap water!
Y'all are the best...thanks..
Haha thanks Mike
I love this content! Assuming you’re an american citizen: Would you be able to share what would be the important things to get done before leaving the states? (Personally going to south america but generally for beginning a digital nomad journey) Other than visas.
Don't know how we didn't see this comment sooner.Great question! I mean remote income is pretty important. If you're from the USA your passport allows you to travel to many places for months just by arriving. If going to LatAm I recommend learning some Spanish. Have multiple ways to access your money. Have extra copies of things like passports. Generally keep your things secure.
@ of course remote income is #1 haha, but I am asking more about important bureaucracy before leaving, such as an extra passport - thanks for that one! And thank you for responding at all :)
@etanheyman5009 Extra physical copies and email yourself a picture of any important documents like passport pictures. The only country in LatAm you need a visa before arrival as a US citizen is currently Venezuela. Otherwise about 3 months is the default stay length. Ways to access money are, atms and western union for cash. Tap pay and card is pretty common place now especially in major cities. But if you go somewhere more rural you might need cash.
Short, sweet and informative 🎉🎉🎉
@@MrJrweir thank you for watching! 😊
Very old man coming to Lima for 2 weeks to work on my writing. I need a daily massage for back pain (not hand job, etc) - how much should I expect to pay for hour massage?
@@alltogethernow121 Hmm, 🤔 we didn't get any messages while in Peru, and I don't remember seeing them advertised so much like in some parts of Asia. Some initial searching gives me anywhere from $50 to $100 for 100 minutes.
in Ecuador specially in the high lands is safe.
@@antonioescobar1335 Indeed, there are some towns in the Andes that are supplied by drinkable spring water.
What about the crime in South America? Is it overblown or true?
@@Banhammer000 It's a thing that's real, there is definitely crime but mostly in specific areas like certain big cities. We have had very few issues over our years in Latin America. Overall not any more dangerous than parts of LA or NYC.
@theinfinitelivingproject7352 that's very helpful, when living in the US. You have to worry about the propaganda of others telling you crime is common in other countries.
I follow you guys..I have a question. I'm a senior looking for the best climate with no humidity and hot..like Ecuador is there any other places in south America like Ecuador climate with no winter's..
@@mikeautry2271 Hmm 🤔, well there are some desert areas in Peru, Chile, Bolivia and northern Colombia if you are ok with Desert. Those will be the driest and hottest. Colombia has similar climates and environments in the Andes mountains and Brazil is hot but often pretty humid.
Hello, how was your experience while in Peru , related to internet speed ? in rural town and cities ?
@@mariogutierrezc We were pleasantly surprised by how fast and reliable the internet connection was in every place we went in Peru!
@@theinfinitelivingproject7352 Thanks for the valuable data. Probably your audience need an special video about reliable and fast internet connection while you were traveling in Latin America. This including of reliabitliy of electricity , I mean no blackouts and / or power outages that could interrupt our work while working online. Maybe a video comparing internet connection in different countries you have already lived/visited
Hello, the drinkable water in some countries are more of general information than precise information. Peru for example says do not drink from tap water because it is not drinkable, but it is just a preventive measure not a rule based on water analysis. How a whole country as Chile or Uruguay can guarantee that all of its tap water is drinkable ? well they really cannot. Some countries as Peru has chosen to ban this as a precaution only. It would good to test the "drinkable" water in Chile or Uruguay to know if they are really harmless or not. Probably not, but same model could be apply to Peru because the same water treatment plants are used in this matter. Some towns in rural areas of Peru the water comes from pristine springs going down from the Andes, but the same pattern in used -> not drinkable water, you must boil it.
@@mariogutierrezc good information to consider

@theinfinitelivingproject7352 ur welcome 😁

this is my experience. I've been living in peru for over 5 years my budget currently is 620$ i live alone with a cat in a 2 room apartment, rent is 320$ including all utilities except internet. the rest is mostly spent on food and groceries cause i dont cook. my rent is technically cheap but that's because i live in a not so good area in lima and I'm lucky to have found this price.
@@azzahaven33 That's an awesome budget! Well done!
which part of lima? I'm looking to retire in peru in the future.
