My channel is the results of a Covid-19 created hobby, Quadcopter (drone) flying. This was a way of getting me out of the house and staying busy. Sunrise over Black Desert and Red Mountain in Southern Utah
This video not only highlights the beauty of Southern Utah's desert, it also included a new golf course, Black Desert Golf Course and Resort. Black Desert will host a PGA Event in October 2024. It is expected to attract many pro players to our area as well as many spectators.

Road Trip - Ely, NV, Lehman Cave and Horn Silver Mine Ghost Town

This was a fun family vacation. Ely, NV is a quaint small town that was established in 1878 as a stagecoach station along the Pony Express. We rode a steam train operated by Nevada Northern Railway. As a golfer, I am able to see the scenic areas surrounding our many golf courses in Washington County, UT. This video will give you an idea of what the golfer sees when playing Dixie Red Hills Golf Course and Saint George Golf Club. Both are City courses.

Fall comes late to the southwest Utah. This video shows the changing color along the Santa Clara River on the west side of Saint George, UT from Valley View drive to Tonaquint drive. This area has experienced significent growth in the past few years to include apts, senior living and office complexes.
Kolob Terrace Road (Backside of Zion National Park) September and October 2023.

This is much of the same video published last month along Kolob Terrace Road. Included in this video is a splash of fall color, a nice livestock watering pond and an interesting split rail fence taken along a public access road that leads to a Zion National Park Overlook.
Hiking Trails and Recreation Area Near-By St. George, UT

This area is only about 15 miles from Saint George. The parts you see in this video are easily accessible by automobile. In the opening frames just over the hill where we parked, you can see both Quail Lake and Sand Hollow reserviors, both are popular rec areas.

La Verkin overlook May 2023

La Verkin overlook is located between La Verkin, UT and Zion National Park. This overlook provides scenic views of the Virgin River and one of several diversion dams. Also included in this video is one of many Parks and Trailheads along the Virgin River. This one is in Washington Utah. It is a popular trail due to the terrain along the river in this area.
Gunlock Reservior Waterfall - Washington County, Utah

Winter and spring has produced a lot of moisture - a good thing for our water reserviors. Gunlock is full with water going over the natural spillway creating scenic waterfalls. The Gunlock Waterfalls are a popular attraction to visitors especially spring breakers from the Salt Lake City area. Some people jump from the rocks into the pools created by the falling water.

My first time flying at night. Night flying is very different than daytime flying. It was very enjoyable and a little scary at the same time. In addition to normal navigation red and green lights, a strobe that can be seen 3 nautical miles is also required on top of the UAV. Some of the stills included were taken by my son.
Growth in Saint George and Washington County, Utah

Saint George, Utah was a small, sleepy town when I moved here 23 plus years ago. Don't get me wrong, I still really like the area. Traffic the new growth has brought, not so much. The growth has brought new entrainment attractions and some unique building as you will see in this video.
Fall Colors in Washington County, UT

This video is a collection of locations while driving along Kolob Terrace Road in Washington County, UT in October, 2022. Many of Zion National Park trailheads are located along this very scenic road which leads to Kolob Water Reservoir and beyond.

Flying north over the Virgin River near Littlefield, AZ just south of the Virgin River Gorge. Includes shots of the Virgin River Bridge Construction in May and again in August, 2022. Progress appears slow but in the August video you can see the north bound side is just about ready for the deck to be installed. Also, the supports for the south bound traffic is also complete.
