My Bosch Universal Plus make a whinning sound and sometimes the mixer speed changes like the load is too much. Is there something that needs to be oiled or greased...and how to do that please. I want to fix it before it stops working!

Amazing how you put that back together Healthy. I have had a Bosch universal for probably 40+ years and it’s worked wonderful until recently. It’s bogging down and I’m guessing it has some rust and need some attention. How can I contact you to send my Bosch, if you think you can fix it. It is an E - NR. MUM6621UC.

My bosch universal plus has a black thing like a dust or oil coming up to the top everytime i making a dough bread. What exacrly happened 😢 not much coming to the top but can contaminated the dough bread.

Have this machine and only the blender side is working. Is there a safety sensor or something that stops it from activating the main motor? Note I opened it up and looked like grease sprayed everywhere inside , it looks simple enough mechanism so unsure where all the grease came from.

Just purchased this little compact. I have an older and much larger Bosch in the garage but no longer need to make 6 loaves of bread. I'm wondering what size bread pans are best for two whole wheat loaves made in the Bosch compact. Also, is one rise still appropriate for the compact? Thanks for the video.

Are you affiliated with Bosch or just independent repair? My moms machine centre hub stopped turning, the side blender attachment works when the cover is removed. Opened it up and looks like some sort of oil splattered everywhere. Power drive unit replacement is expensive and not worth it. Is there any way to save it?

Wow! They've really improved this over the last few years; I would not want to wash those little center parts. In any case, I love our Bosch for mixing and whipping eggs to stiff peaks. I only just found out this week that it also slices and shreds like that! I'm gonna try it out tomorrow with mushrooms and garlic and maybe even parsley if it'll work on limp herbs. We'll see! P.S. I love that old-fashioned Utah accent. It reminds me of goodness and of my uncles who are wonderful. :)

I purchased the BOSCH MUM-4405 in Europe in the 90's, then took it with me when I moved to North America, still using it (in 2018!) with a voltage transformer. Have 5 shredding/slicing discs (also the one for julienne), the meat grinder and the blender. Just not the food processor, I did not like the height of the whole assembly. The mixer produces dough and whipped cream in a whim. The blender is a bit noisy, but ok (least used part of the MUM-4405). The meat grinder and the shredding/slicing discs are in my opinion the best attachments. When using the meat grinder, it is important that you cut the meat in cubes and put it around 20-30 minutes in the freezer before you start grinding, also cool the grinder spiral and the blade before you start. I am so pleased with this BRAUN MUM4405. It never let me down, nothing broke in these more than 2 1/2 decades of use. I call these quite expensive small appliances "investment". You don't need to worry that it breaks within a few months.
