The the white of his eyes, he's got black eyes like a doll's eyes, Shark comes up to you, he don't seem to be livin, till he bites you, then those black eyes roll over and white, ahh you hear that terrible high pitch screaming, the ocean turns red, and despite all the pounding and hollaring they all come in and they, rip you to pieces".

They talk about how the fact the shark wasn't working built up the tension at the beginning of the movie, because not seeing it (not being ABLE to see it) created more suspense. They forget that Stephen Spielberg first made the movie "Duel." In that movie, you never saw the driver. You never saw what pissed him off. You never knew WHY what was happening was happening. Stephen knew how to build tension. He just had a malfunctioning shark to make where to put the tension easier. ("Easier.")

Amazing insight and observation's, but what a terrible way to make a documentary. The constantly loud unnecessary music (Not the John Williams score) over many parts. And the repetitive zoom in/outs on still photographs Just show the damn photo! Unless there is some kind of reveal to justify it.... but they did it on almost every photo. Why??? just made me feel sick. Unable to watch till the end... so annoying

This all revolves around the USS Indianapolis. This "hint" is given during Quint's monologue. He explains it very clearly if you listen to him. Quint escaped the "jaws of death" while many other sailors did not. He survived but only later to match the fate of his fellow-sailors later. After surviving, he went on through life with a heart of revenge, killing shark after shark after shark. It's why Batman fights crime after his parents are murdered through the heart of crime. Quint is the same way, however he had sailors waiting for him in the heart of the sea. But fate inevitably had its way at the end. It is the ultimate pay off. A beautiful, tragic story.

From a film student perspective, you can't really overstate the impact this film had. It pretty much created the entire concept of a summer blockbuster film, opening the door for later hit films. Even more importantly, it created something that artists and creators learned quickly, which was the incredible potential of MERCHANDISING. George Lucas was smart enough to see this. When he negotiated for his masterpiece, he made sure to get the lion's share. And paid for his next two films.

I’m pretty sure I’ve replied to you before, but in the interest of time…NO it is not cancelled. The boat will be finished, I’m a lot further along than people think, know, and realize. I’ve explained this half a dozen times, and explain this more times a year than I care to think about. The boat itself is a full time job. Having a job and then rebuilding the boat is a full plate of work. My time was cut down to the point that I could not edit videos. I have filmed plenty of videos, but haven’t had time to edit them until recently. I’m at a point now to where I can relax a bit and edit again. This happened in 1992. My friends and I were on the coast of North Carolina for vacation. We had ran the beach and to cool off, we jumped into the ocean. All of us were probably about 100 yards from the shoreline, just kind of hovering, when 2 of the guys in our group suddenly started swimming for the beach. I figured that they were just ready to go back so i didn't really give it too much thought. The next thing i know, 2 more guys did the same thing. Just abruptly and with no words or warnings, made a straight line to the beach. Now, it was just me and my friend. Suddenly, we noticed everyone on the beach, stand up and run to the edge of the water. My buddy said " that can't be good." We having just watched Jaws for the umpteenth time a week before, realized what was probably happening. So, we began to swim in, the entire time being freaked the f out. As we got a little less than waste deep, i looked to my right and watched the water fold into itself in the strangest way. There are no words to really describe it but, you could tell that something was causing it to happen. The next thing i know, i felt some hit my lower leg. It felt like a sledgehammer. My feet went from under me and i land face first into the shallows. My friends ran into the water and pulled me onto the beach. People were standard around me and my first thought was, " is my leg gone?" Nope. No bite, no blood. However, i had one helluva of a bruise that formed on my leg and my knee was sore for weeks for bending in an odd direction. While i was still on the beach, i sat up and everyone was pointing and sure enough, you could see the fin slicing through the water. Needless ti say, that was the day i retired from going into the ocean. Lakes and swimming pools for me from that day forward.

This is probably the best track of the whole soundtrack. You can hear the sadness, the dramatic times, the realm fall into disgrace and crumble apart because of a tragedy. Some would say that it was the pretention of having a queen at the lead of the realm that have brought the disaster... and that's one of the real tragedies of this fictonary world. I still keep reminding of the powerless and so commoting figure of King Vyseris... He wanted peace and prosperity and his family to be happy and what he got was a bomb ready to explode. A good man indeed, but the show tend to show that good men makes disasters and good actions have no other consequences than pain and suffering for all. Unlike House of Cards where a deviated mind like that of Frank Underwood, exactly because he was able to see evil, was also able to avoid it to hit the country. It's like an admission of failure for the anglo-germanics. They think it's not possible to be happy on this world by doing the right thing. They are turning into Russians. 🤣🤣🤣

For instance, inside the home, crank down the sound of the bugs outside, and also crank reeeeeally down the sounds of the papers being shuffled (they caught me off-guard with how loud they were kek). It's also those little things that does it for me like for example; when Hooper visits Brody in his house with red wine and white wine he said to his wife he likes to talk with her husband and she says So do I. Jaws is not just a creature feature but also an incredible feast for compelling dialogs between characters.

I was born in 1960 and everything you said brought me back to that time! We were gone all day riding our bikes, skating with the skates you attached to your shoes, playing baseball with whatever kids showed up, and knew to be home when it got dark. We never ran out of things to do, swimming at the public pool, going to movies with friends in the afternoon or the drivein, we would all pile in the car and have the best time! Going to the gas station for penny candy, finding snakes and snapping turtles, and taking them home to show mom! Lol Taking my dog with me everywhere, knocking on friends doors to ask if your friend can come out and play, imaginations running wild, riding horses, watching the Wizard of Oz once a year excited when it came on tv! Friends all trick or treating together without parents coming along. Slumber parties! I remember my whole family went together to watch Jaws and it still came into my mind when I went whale watching in Maui and I was dangling my foot in the water and remembered Jaws and pulled my foot out of the water with a feeling of panic! Lol Remember snow fights and building snow forts? My dad would build a fire in the snow and we would roast hot dogs and marshmallows! Thank you for taking me back in time to all those wonderful memories!
