Rubbish report from my 60 years at motorcycles
@@dereklmcguire At them,not on them?
Had a bad experience on my velocette venom clubman ,going around a righthand roundabout, rear wheel nut worked free+wound speedo cable pulling bike to the right. Result of vibration from ton up ride on motorway. Started riding twins.
Nuts or bolts dont work lose , they are left lose
@dereklmcguire They do,from vibration?
@@markbeale739065 years working on bikes , it is operators mistake
@@markbeale7390 operator neglect
I just seen , my old Custom on your list . And I agree it was the best bike I ever owned . I put a 2into 1 pipes on , new oil pump & cams . It woke it up , & handled like a sporty.
How could the FXR not be on this list???
You forgot the 84 FXRS
For any rider out there who may or may not agree with this list, I say this: the best motorcycle out there is the one you’re actually riding. Whether it’s a cruiser such as my main ride a ‘24 Harley Breakout or my newest family member my ‘24 CVO Pan America, whichever ride makes you remember the freedom we are all junkies for…that’s the best ride there is!!
Triumph and BSA were the best..
no Honda
channel should be called bull 💩,
‘16 Triglide
These lists are always subjective, and often not based on facts. The 1975 FLH was mechanically the same as the '74, 73, 72, or 1970. So you singled out one year of what was a 14 year run, 18 if you count the generator shovelheads? Did your scientific assessment involve darts thrown at a poster of old Harleys?
I will void your opinion at all cost...
The claim about the shovelhead is not correct, the shovelhead is basically identical from 1970 to about 1984, so the 1975 model is therefore not special. I have now ridden the same 1974 model for 30 years and it is an extremely reliable engine that is very durable and does not leak more oil than other motorcycles from that era. so therefore I will call the claim a lie. In addition, shovelhead engines are the Harley engine that has the best engine sound.
Softail is so fucking nice looking bike ....👍👍💯💯
The Baja 100 looked cool but it was junk the motor had no power but when you were lucky enough to find the ghost power band it would jump out of gear. For less pesos you could get a Yamaha MX 100 that was a world of difference !
Shovel heads rock. None of mine leaked oil excessively, nor did they run hot. Where did this "source" get its information? Made it up him self?
Wow a new HD $25,000. Plus new exhaust, handle bars, air intake, seat, rear shocks, front suspension. Now you have a Custom HD. Enjoy for 10 years are 550,000 miles.
I was happy with my 1990 FXRS 1340 Evo, in my opinion HD had most things right , kept it nearly 20 years, outsourcing to India or China is unlikely to be a path to unrivalled quality.
2000 night train carborator
What about the night train what number
I had a Kawasaki 500 triple when I was a kid. Great bike in a straight line, not so much on hard corners with a passenger (especially a fat chick.) It felt like there was a hinge in the swingarm.
Excellent informational video, background music was nerve=wracking!
AI, Thumbs down
Harley sold all the patterns to chana thats a profitable glory hole. Trump will give back ar vest
Stop Chinese honda/ Harley Davidson USA RULES
Best harley cruiser is the Dyna
i had 72 h2 i won a lot of money with it then i let a friend borrow it and he brought it back with no oil in it i sold it for more than i paid for it.....
I'm still putting miles on my 2002 CBR954RR...it's not as fast as the new Liter Bikes but it's my baby.
And you didn't even think of putting the Stark designed Aprilia 6.5 in this list?
As an older fella as much as I love nearly all these bikes I’d sadly have to pass on all of these. The E-bike would be the only one I didn’t like I wouldn’t buy an EV let alone an E-bike. As much as I know #1 would definitely kill me I reckon it would be great fun for shits and giggles specially being powered by a RR jet engine. Great video just the same thanks for sharing. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My 2000 fxgwd has gone 97000 miles with just doing a can tensioner upgrade still running Strong
Very few if any,Amf bikes mentioned,XR 750's? rarely available to the public.
Every harley ever made
I agree. I had a Kawasaki H1 500 cc two stroke. It was wicked too but in my 20s I loved it. I loved the looks of the Honda CB500T but I didn't buy one. It was just a bored out CB450 that was a great bike. I bought the CB 550 Four instead. That was a solid commuter and tourer for less cost than the CB 750.
XR1200
Dyna evo 1996
XR-1000 very distinctive sound.
Harley went to China never buy another
No Dyna?
Oooooooh WOW SUPER ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Greetings from Germany
I had a '73 H2. It was my first motorcycle. In 1974 I rode it from Gainesville, Florida to San Francisco, California and back. Loved that bike, I wish I still had it.
Lies!! It was the 500cc H1 Mach 3 that was the widowmaker. The H1Mach 3 debuted in 1969, well before the H2. The H2 750cc was downright safe in comparison. But not saying it was actually safe, just safer! This vid was not well researched regarding the Kawasaki.
I started riding in 1969 and well remember the kawasaki triples, they were perfectly safe unless you wanted to go round bends of course, but that applied to many Japanese bikes at the time as I found out on a few occasions, the first suzuki gsx1100et's were a little skitty as well, I still own one as well as cb1000 big one and a 68 honda cb250k0, sadly at 71 riding them can be a bit of a strain now
If you might see it, there are no Triumphs. They make some of best bikes better than the Japanese. Harley can never compare.
Early 1980's XLS,pretty bad,just a dolled up Sportster.
Harley claims these bike are made by Americans, but is this true? They're supposed to be,but Asia could easily make a aircooled v-twin engine,no problem, corporations are in the business of providing products to the public for a price, who makes this product means nothing to them,a very simple truth!
Nonsense, Don. EVERY company has tried to make a HD clone. All flopped. It's called loyalty!
The bike in the thumbnail is not in the video.
Being that this list excludes the FXRT, T Sport and Lowrider ST practically makes this list null and void. Major dropped balls here.
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 1990 FXRS Sports edition. Arguably the BEST Hog ever made!
Dumb. The Nightster was just a Sportster. And the Fat Boy was just a mildly customized Softail. There's no question the best Harley of all time was the FXRS and its derivatives. Best handling BigTwin by far and the fastest Evo because of its light weight and strong frame.
Agreed
