Thanks a lot❤ You made this really easy to understand Sending lots of hugs and 💕😘 God bless you 🙏
You're welcome I'm glad you find it helpful
I don't understand how u got 4
4 is gotten from the ratio in which both hydrogen and oxygen ( that is, a ratio of 2:1). According to the question solved above, x is the unknown and it is also being made the subject (by taking the ratio sign to be an equal sign and cross multiplying indirectly as said in the explanation)
Thanks

If the symbol for mass conc. Is g/dm³ but in the question it's only grams Does that mean it's the same??
It depends on the information given in the question asked
Thanks 👍

Thanks for the explanation

You didn't convert the 0.11g to kg in the solution which gives us 110kg but it's still gives the same answer as well
There is no need for conversion since other values we worked with are in cm^3 (the volume of the gas and molar volume of a gas). Also, I'll like you to note that converting 0.11g to kg won't give 110kg. 0.11g = 0.00011kg. For the solution in the video above, all values are in their expected unit for easier calculations.
Thankyou for explaining it in such an easy way,I'm truly grateful 😊
My pleasure 😊

Thanks ma'am But in some context i.e calculation in chemistry by ewelukwa. The formula for calculating residual gas= volume of unreacted gas +volume of the product. Why is it not related here
You're welcome. Yes, you're right with the formula for calculating residual gas that you stated, but there could be an exception to that depending on the nature of the question just as in the one above. In the question above, we're made to understand that the resulting mixture was passed over calcium chloride which is a drying agent. This implies that the product is being dried up, making it not to be part of the residual gases. We are then left with the hydrogen and oxygen gases ( the reactants). For the reactants, hydrogen gas is the limiting reagent (gas being used up), while oxygen gas is the one in excess. Thus, making oxygen gas the residual gas because it is not used up in the reaction, which is gotten to be 10cm^3 from the solution in the video above. Summarily, based on the formula YOU presented (The formula for calculating residual gas= volume of unreacted gas +volume of the product), the volume of the product will automatically be ZERO because it is being dried up, so we're left with the volume of the unreacted gas only. I hope you find this useful, thanks.
Thank u so much Your channel will grow...#AMEN
Thank you too

Nice... just what I needed❤
Glad it could help
Where did you get 13g
13g is gotten from the mass of the empirical formula of the compound CH, which can also be referred to as the empirical formula mass. CH = 12 + 1 = 13g [Atomic mass of C=12, H=1]
