Ciao ! I really liked that you've showed us close ups of this makeup application. I have 40 years old and - what is usually made here on youtube -, is showing the same products with full on bright lights on their faces. I appreciated the effort. I think i have the same type of skin colour as you. I'm light olive (I'm portuguese), so... its always a challenge to find bronzers that didn't turn "orangy" on me. Even certain eyeshadows!! I also don't use a full foundation face. Thank you!
It's so refreshing to see such transparency in a makeup tutorial. Usually, there are tons of bright light, not zooming in, blur, and filters. I applaud you for that! I also have some couperose and rosacea on my face, so I definitely can relate to that. I haven't worn foundation for 4 years, but recently I started wearing skin tints, cc, and light coverage foundations again. I noticed that my skin needs more evenings out with aging, plus it's another layer of protection from the visible light. For my under-eyes, I do the same thing, but I use CT Hollywood Filer (shade 2 has a peachy undertone). The coverage is enough for me. I love that PMG powder, I use it all over the face. Kiko 201 is one of my favorite blushes. I want to buy a backup of it for sure. I also don't use bronzers a lot. Tbh bronzer for me is just another blush product :) I'm also muted and soft! Now I understand why we share so many favorites :) I haven't tried Hourglass powders yet. Still waiting for my perfect palette from them. I know for sure that my powder shade is diffused light because it's more yellow. I love the final result! Beautifully, yet elegantly enhances all your features! Bravo! As for the Surratt eyeshadow, I had this shade on my wishlist, but I'm not sure it will go well with my eyes (I should check out the other one you mentioned - the silver taupe one). You are right that golden tones look good with brown eyes, as they make them more hazel/green-looking, enhancing the yellow parts of the pupil. I also for the life of me can't make my straight lashes more curvy and lifted.
Another reason for this transparency is that I don’t want to show my face. So this is my compromise to show application without showing my (entire) face. 🤣 Thanks for commenting and sharing your favorites 😘😘😘
I love this concept for a video! Interesting textures are fun to work with. I loved that you showed your application, too, and up close. It was really helpful! I love the squared off shape of your Tanseido brush! I’ll have to try to find something like it. It really is versatile! I also love a sheer application of face powders, so I need to look into their face brushes. I’ve not tried any Tanseido face brushes!
I really do enjoy your content. It’s very refreshing compare to so many other beauty influencers. I know, that you are more into luxury, but have you tried Zoeva eyeliners? They are very creamy, but not as soft as VB or Lisa Eldridge. I think it is a great and an affordable option.
Your style of makeup is so similar to mine! I also prefer very bare skin and nowadays even skin tint feels like too much. I use sunscreen and then blurring powder, my favourite is the loose Suqqu covering glow powder. Very mild coverage and perfecting/blurring. Then natural also blurring blush (from the Leopard or Butterfly palette) and gentle highlighter also an hourglass. You have beautiful eyes, and those shadows look great :)
I have several options: oneskin (physical), Charlotte tilbury (chemical) and other Korean ones. A good one to be used as foundation is Colorescience Flex
@@bobmindset 😂I do the same thing. The colorscience looked cakey when using the right amount for spf coverage so I first use a Korean or Japanese spf then use a sponge to apply some of the colorscience on my cheek bones and across my nose. It has a good neutral color. Most tinted spfs are too peach for my skin tone.
Some days I use tinted sunscreen and some days I just use sunscreen then my color makeup of eyeshadow, blush etc. I understand where you’re are coming from and have never cared for the look of foundation.

Hello! I’m glad it helped! Stay tuned for a follow up video about the most youthful makeup 😘
I remember being super shocked when you told me you were using HG Mood Light as a blush. Love how different your style is Claudia!
the unfiltered close-ups were very helpful, thank you! would love to see a video on how to enhance brown eyes as well!
Thank YOU for watching! Sure! That video is on my list. I have an idea that requires more time, but I’ll make it soon
Try the SURRAT eyeliner🌟

I will compare that Tanseido brush with Rephr 02 Max. They may be close…

Uh, thank you so much for this comment! I’ll see once my VB pencils need to be replaced 😘

Such a great idea to use auric as an undereye concealer. I will have to try that. What spf do you like to use on your face?

Your pores, what do you do for your pores because the powders are accentuating them?
I don’t do anything. I have always had pores, and in real life they look much better than in this zoomed unfiltered video. 😘

I truly dislike foundation on the chin and lower part of my face. Maybe because I remember a teacher that used to stain my notebooks with her fingers
