Hey guys, thank you so much for the incredible content you consistently share-it’s truly appreciated! I have a question about a topic you covered in a previous episode, specifically on determining whether you’re lacking speed or stamina. From what I understand, the process begins by inputting your time for a specific distance-say, a marathon-into a running calculator. The calculator then generates interpolated times for shorter distances. If the interpolated times are faster than what you can realistically achieve, this would indicate a speed deficiency. Is that correct?

Just for fun I copy/pasted the transcript and gave ChatGPT a prompt to summarize the video and here's what it gave me, I hope it accurately summarized the video, and thanks Brakken; Here is the alphabetized list of the running shoes mentioned in the review: Adidas Adizero Prime X Strung Adidas Adios Pro 3 Adidas Takumi Sen Adidas Terex Agravic Speed Ultra Asics Fuji Speed Trail Asics Meta Fuji Trail Asics MetaSpeed Sky Brooks Hyperion Max Hoka Cielo Road Hoka Tekton X 1 Hoka Zanon Mizuno Rebellion Pro 2 Nike Alphafly Nike Streak Fly Nike Ultra Fly Trail Nike Vaporfly North Face Summit Vective Pro 2 On Cloudboom Echo Puma Deviate Nitro Elite Saucony Endorphin Elite Saucony Endorphin Pro Saucony Rift Saucony Sinister Solomon Pulsar 3 Solomon S Lab Genesis VJ Max 2 VJ Sport Light Speed Now, here are summaries for each shoe: Adidas Adizero Prime X Strung: Technical Description: A 50mm stack height shoe with two carbon plates and Lightstrike Pro foam. It’s design is illegal for racing due to the stacked plates. Brakken’s Opinion: A highly tech-advanced shoe, possibly lasting for 600-800 miles. It feels firm but has great potential for leg-saving over long distances. However, it may not work for everyone due to its unusual height and feel. Adidas Adios Pro 3 Technical Description: Features rods instead of a carbon plate, multiple foam layers, and a stiff upper. It has cutouts in the sole to reduce weight and improve flexibility. Brakken’s Opinion: A very fast shoe that is stiff and can beat up the legs, making it difficult for some to run long distances. It's a high-risk, high-reward shoe for those whose stride matches the design. Adidas Takumi Sen Technical Description: A flexible road racing shoe with rods instead of a plate and lower stack height in the 20s. Brakken’s Opinion: A snappy, lightweight shoe that doesn’t force the foot into a specific motion. He praises its pop off the ground, despite not being a super shoe, making it one of his favorites for various distances. Adidas Terex Agravic Speed Ultra Technical Description: A trail shoe that is narrow through the midfoot and designed for forefoot running. Brakken’s Opinion: A very fast trail shoe, but risky because of its instability. If it works for you, it's great; if not, it’s dangerous, potentially leading to ankle injuries. Asics Fuji Speed Trail Technical Description: A stripped-down trail racer with no plating and a lower stack height. Brakken’s Opinion: A sleeper shoe that balances speed with a good grip, offering a natural ride without the instability of super shoes. Asics Meta Fuji Trail Technical Description: A trail version of the Asics MetaSpeed Sky with similar technology, designed for smoother trails. Brakken’s Opinion: While fast, it’s not ideal for technical trails due to its bouncy, plated design. It fits well into the "wild" category. Asics MetaSpeed Sky Technical Description: A super shoe with soft yet firm foam, a moderate rocker, and a stable base for various foot strikes. Brakken’s Opinion: One of his favorite all-around shoes. Stable, safe, and can handle many different paces, from easy runs to high-speed intervals. Brooks Hyperion Max Technical Description: A lightweight shoe without extreme stack heights or plates. Brakken’s Opinion: A safe option in the old school meets new school category, combining high-end tech with a more traditional feel. Hoka Cielo Road Technical Description: A lightweight racing shoe with high energy return and minimal plating. Brakken’s Opinion: An example of old-school tech meeting new foam advancements, suitable for traditional runners who don’t want super shoes. Hoka Tekton X 1 Technical Description: A trail shoe with parallel detached carbon plates, firm cushioning, and a lock lacing system. Brakken’s Opinion: A safe trail super shoe, but not very aggressive. More suitable for longer, less technical trails due to its stability and cushioning. Hoka Zanon Technical Description: A lightweight trail shoe with a breathable upper and great foam. Brakken’s Opinion: A solid trail shoe that prioritizes upper comfort and stability over aggressive speed. Mizuno Rebellion Pro 2 Technical Description: Lacks a traditional heel and is designed to propel runners forward with high stack cushioning. Brakken’s Opinion: His favorite shoe for fast running, offering incredible propulsion. However, it’s tiring to maintain the required form for extended distances. Nike Alphafly Technical Description: A maximalist racing shoe with air pods, a carbon plate, and a wide platform. Brakken’s Opinion: An outrageous shoe with high cushioning, suited for specific running styles. If it works for you, it’s one of the fastest options, but if it doesn’t, it can cause severe discomfort. Nike Streak Fly Technical Description: A low-stack, flexible shoe with ZoomX foam and no plate. Brakken’s Opinion: Offers super shoe benefits in a lightweight, low-profile package. A great option for tempo runs and racing. Nike Ultra Fly Trail Technical Description: A super soft trail shoe with a wide forefoot and ZoomX cushioning. Brakken’s Opinion: One of the safer trail super shoes, providing soft cushioning without feeling too aggressive. Nike Vaporfly Technical Description: A super shoe with ZoomX foam and a plate, featuring a high drop. Brakken’s Opinion: The safest super shoe for all types of runners, offering a speed boost without requiring specific foot mechanics. North Face Summit Vective Pro 2 Technical Description: A high-end trail shoe with carbon plates and super foam, tuned for stability on trails. Brakken’s Opinion: A top-tier trail super shoe that feels like a road shoe, stable and fast without being too aggressive. On Cloudboom Echo Technical Description: A firm shoe with bouncy foam and a stiff ride. Brakken’s Opinion: Fast but firm, it can beat up your legs over long distances. Works for some, but not all. Puma Deviate Nitro Elite Technical Description: A lightweight racing shoe with a curved plate and more stack height. Brakken’s Opinion: Great as a tempo or all-around shoe, but lacks the super qualities of other elite racers. Comfortable and well-rounded but not revolutionary. Saucony Endorphin Elite Technical Description: A firm, fast shoe similar to the Alphafly, with dynamic cushioning. Brakken’s Opinion: Wild and fast, but can be unstable for some runners, beating up the legs in longer races. Saucony Endorphin Pro Technical Description: A flexible super shoe with soft foam and a mild rocker. Brakken’s Opinion: The safest super shoe due to its ability to handle different paces and foot strikes, making it great for versatile runners. Saucony Rift Technical Description: A flexible, super foamed trail shoe with no plating. Brakken’s Opinion: A flexible shoe that provides freedom of movement, perfect for trail running without the fear of ankle issues. Saucony Sinister Technical Description: A racing flat with a low stack height and flexible construction. Brakken’s Opinion: An old-school racing shoe with modern technology. Extremely light and fast, it’s perfect for runners who prefer minimalist designs. Solomon Pulsar 3 Technical Description: A light trail shoe with a squishy foam and flexible upper. Brakken’s Opinion: A significant improvement over its predecessor, with better stability and a lighter feel, but still best for non-technical terrain. Solomon S Lab Genesis Technical Description: A fast, narrow trail shoe with better foam and a flexible upper. Brakken’s Opinion: A great all-around trail racer, improving on Solomon’s past models by offering better comfort and foot retention . VJ Max 2 Technical Description: A trail shoe with ETPU foam and enhanced grip. Brakken’s Opinion: Comfortable with great grip, this shoe is an improvement over the previous version, now offering some pop in addition to traction. VJ Sport Light Speed Technical Description: A trail shoe with a half-plate design and a thicker upper. Brakken’s Opinion: Fast but tippy, this shoe is great for those who want some propulsion but don’t want a full super shoe experience.

Hi There, I was analysing your UA-cam channel. Great. Your Content is fantastic, But your video optimization section area is not perfectly up to date. Out of 100 that score very low, That’s why your video is not reaching out to people, and you have very few subscribers, views , likes, watch time and comments. I think your UA-cam channel will make your dream come true. If you can fix these problems your channel will grow very fast & definitely your videos will get more views. Can I help you ? Thank You.

It would be interesting if you both picked a successful race in your life and walked us through what your training looked like leading into the race and then do a bit of a race recap. Could turn into some interesting reflection on what worked or what didn't work that you were able to overcome on race day!

I love it... I think you need to improve the title and properly add ranking tags (according to the content) in the video tags section. You should also share the video on various social media sites. That way you can easily reach a nice audience with your videos... Your dedication to your channel and the concept of your videos is really impressive. you're doing pretty well. But your content isn't getting the viewership you want...I believe this will meet all your needs... and I wish you the best on your journey on UA-cam..
