FIRST DRIVE FOOTAGE! - 1964 Fleetwood Project Mini
I filmed this on a whim during a chaotic day of fleetwood shenanigans. I have no video of events that led up to this hence why it wasn't featured in the project series pt.3 but this is the very first time I ever tried to drive the car EVER EVER EVER

A very brief overview of my 3M Wollensak T-1500 Reel to Reel player/recorder TRIGGER WARNING: Offensive item makes an appearance in this video. I tried to blur it for your safety. This mostly serves as a quick video made on a whim Inspiration struck to film this at midnight, so it is very quiet.
What's going on with the 63 Cadillac??

This time there is no problem, but I noted a problem. For anyone who wants me to do the right thing and clean this engine and bay spotless and rebuild the engine with all new parts and make it drive like brand new, I would. but life gets in the way and I need this car running sooner rather than later.

Insane failure of Crankshaft timing gear. I genuinely have never seen anything like this before. DISCLAIMER: I used the word 'rebuilt' incorrectly. I did NOT send the block to a machine shop I only honed the cylinders myself. machine shops cost money I don't have. just to have the heads done cost a whole paycheck. So then what did you do to it? Well I Replaced the: -rod bearings. -main bearings...

1963 Cadillac : Original A/C Compressor in action.
Переглядів 109Рік тому
In this video, I show the 60yr old freon compressor working in my cadillac, with a pressure readout to show it is working. I explain what has been done to this AC system, what's aftermarket and what's original to the car. It's a video about a freon compressor, so dont expect much. I'm not an a/c pro, I'm still learning so any tips and tricks would be much appreciated! 2023 - Junior Television -...

So a Prius driver and a Cadillac driver walk into a bar… the Prius driver asks the Caddy driver: “I get 51 MPG, what do you get?” The Cadillac driver turns to the Prius driver and says “For starters, I actually get laid.”
Frick yea brother that’s friggin good, them smark clugs is firing sensually
Good lord
That’s great you got it up and running again
My high school ride was almost identical to this one except it was as dark blue with a cream vinyl roof. It had a 4 SPEED HYDRAMATIC transmission in it, with a really low first gear. As a high school kid it was always interesting to say that my ride was loaded with a "429 4 barrel, 4 speed" before saying exactly what the car was. Usually my statement brought up visions of a high performance Ford instead of a Caddy! It's easy to tell the transmissions apart; the 3 speed THM uses electric kick-down switch, the Four Speed HydraMatic used the TV Rod. Good luck with your new ride - I'll subscribe and follow your progress.
Nice, I know my 63 cadillac 62 series had a 4spd hydramatic. Dark blue with a cream vinyl top just imagining that looks awesome
About the Bull Horns , you still have them ?
Not anymore, gave them to my uncle
Poure some fuel down the carb
Added note here, I just love your caddy!
Jumped time?
No, but eventually I found the issue which will be covered in another video
Can I buy it
Not for sale
Way too much camera movement dude.
That’s quite the survivor ❗️ Clean her & wax her up and drive it 👍🇺🇸 What part of CT did she come from?
Came out of waterbury, originally bought from Michael Cozy dealer, I wonder if they're still in business
Hell yea that’s what the fuck I’m talking about brother !
A worthwhile project, best of luck.
The leather seats look so good.
Great video I would love to have that car
That "door bumper trim" wasn't an option. Side trim on Cadillacs from this era depended on what model you had. Fleetwoods had rocker trim along the bottom of the car but no side rub strips like the Series 62 cars. One option your car doesn't have is the vinyl roof. Also when you say "dealer option" I think you mean factory option. Dealer-installed options were generally minor items like tissue dispensers, door edge guards and seat covers.
I had one just like this but gold with a vinyl top,no rust . I needed an engine for an 82 lynx so i sold it,wish i had it back.
That is beautiful
What about trying starter fluid?
Tried after filming ended, did not work as there is still an ignition issue, which will be covered in episode 2!
Made back when Cadillac was really 'The Standard of the World,' as stated in their very early advertisements.
Vacuum door and trunk release. Many opportunities for vacuum leaks .
Terrible camera movement.
All Cadillacs are cool. The 1964 was a good year! Take your time. That Cadillac can be saved.
Hell yeah brother
I love to see old classic, beautifully designed cars get refurnished and look and operate like new, but I imagine it is an expensive process.
You have my sttention.
So, this car was only *10 years old* when it was parked in 1974!
Sweet !😊
I’d love to have. Some day
Sweet Cadillac and in great shape! Can't wait to see it shined up and some whitewall tires!
maaan this sucks so baaad... one caddy less... how did that happen?
Electrical fire caught under the power seat
GET A TRIPOD.....DAMN!!!!
Get some bitches damn
Hell yeah brother
NOO 😭
Touching the projector bulb without gloves can ruin the bulb cause of the natural oils on your hands.
💯❤️🪗🎼👏☀️🍀
Idk if your still working on this project, but i just picked one out of someones trash and it had the manual, maybe it can help you
Ok
I have this exact model and was trying to set up a fire stick to it, instead of getting static as I did before I added in all the adapters I just get a white screen, any idea?
I saw one of these in a HRP video.
SEARS GOLDEN STRINGS... MUITO BOM...
