I absolutely agree with the fact that you lose a part of yourself with each baby you have. I had two boys back to back and it was so difficult! Once they finally grew up and started school, I was able to find myself again and learn to love myself as a woman and a mother. ❤❤

As an artist, it's my nightmare to "feel nothing". It would be a loss of identity (and it's my income source). That being said, I need to make some deep changes which is why I'm considering Lexapro in the first place. I was prescribed It 2 months ago and I still haven't touched it because I'm afraid of what it might do to my brain chemistry. We are meant to feel in this world, just like your father said. I'm glad that you stopped yourself from listening to harmful thoughts, but also hope you stay true to yourself and what you want from life/need to give the world. Because if you don't, I think that's where these creeping thoughts come from. We cannot hide who we are / what we desire without expecting pushback/tension/imbalance. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony. I've been looking for an open and intelligent review of someone's experience.
