How does adding solder release the port?

My LGv20 charges, but it has an issue where the audio won't play unless the USBC is plugged in a certain way, even without the USBC being connected to a power source. Any ideas?

Hi, I just watched your video. I have an LG V20 that needs the charging port repaired. I tried charging it with a generic c port charger I bought to replace the original and I think I bent the pins because I kinda forced it in. Do you provide repair services? Would you consider repairing my phone if I mailed it to you and what are your fees? I have tons of pictures of my kids and that's mainly why I'm trying to recover the phone's function. Thanks!

Hi, is there any place in South Africa (Mzansi) you can recommend where I can replace the charging pin for my LG V20?

I bought V20 phone from CellCow on Ebay.. A little over a year later the port is not charging, even after heavy cleaning and numerous chargers/cables. I'm thinking buying those magnetic charger will prevent this from happening again with a new phone. But either way 2nd hand phones are junk even refurbished ones. I repaired a charger port on a Galaxy s4, but it was far from a perfect repair. Im not going to try it again I just bought a new non-opened V30, im gonna also see if Cell Cow will give me a replacement just so I can maybe resell the phone. But yeah the charging ports get damaged from the cables I think, from the stress you put in them while docked in the phone. Wireless or magnetic is the best in my book.

Hey my droid turbo wont turbo(fast) charging ! Need help

The Droid Turbo 2 is the worst smart phone I've ever examined (build quality-wise, not the specs). The build quality is worse than the $30 tracfones from Wal-mart. Terrible, terrible phone. My father went through three Droid Turbo 2 phones in less than two years (Verizon extended warranty). I finally took a look at the last one and was just blown away by how badly it is made. Literally every time I disassembled it and reassembled it, a different part stopped working. The plastic cover on the black models disintegrates over time with contact with AIR.

Hey buddy! How are you doing? Recently my S7 started to make an airbubble on the top right corner, near the camera cut-out and earpiece. I was wondering if this bubble could grow to the camera cut-out and the screen. The bubble has only reached the paint layer attached to the glass YET. But I am really scared that IF the screen is glued to the glass like the paint is, it will start to separate. *Can you tell if there is any adhesive glueing the screen to the glass? And if there is, is it the same holding the paint to the glass?* I really appreciate your reply. It will help me a lot. Have a great day!!
