Alot has been going on the past few weeks. Been on a business trip working with suspension for Jeeps and Toyotas in the USA for 10 days and been on vacation with my family for 2 weeks living in the Cherokee and the roof top tent setup. First time using the RTT equipped Cherokee XJ

This was the first time the whole family (2 adults 2 kids) slept in the roof top tent. It went very well and we evaluated the setup, gear etc. In 1 week we will live in the Cherokee for a whole week and it feels very promising :) The tent Im using is a Safari Pro L from Outdoordays.se For more photos and videos, check out my Instagram account ReconYJ_Swe #jeep #rooftoptent #overland
DIY low profile roof rack for Cherokee XJ, RTT

In this episode I fabricate a low profile roof rack for my roof top tent. To be able to reach the zipper and to fold out the tent - the rood rack needs to be flat. I use 30x30mm square steel tubing. Motor mounts 2" offset, new crossmember for transfer case and more!

The struggle is real! I need to move the engine 2" towards the rear to clear the front axle at full bump. I also made a new crossmember to support the transfer case and I continue with all the suspension brackets for the front 3-link setup. The engine package is back in and I can finally see what parts that will interfere with each other... and its alot! But nothing that cant be solved! In this episode I give you an update on the 2 Jeep projects. I go to Autocut to CNC bend the frame stiffeners, waterjet cut trackbar bracket and I also recieved an epoxy primer from Upplands Bilfärg!
