The BEST Bond movie theme! What a classic! Shirley knocked it out of park! Miss Sinatra, had the second best Bond song.

A NATIONAL treasure!

A superb performance from Shirley. This is possibly THE Bond title song. Fantastic vocal and orchestration from John Barry - right up to those final notes. This wouldn't have been too long after her famous recording session; and here she is miming to the version that was released on a 45 at the time - far better than the soundtrack version. The single only reached No.21 here in November 1964 but in the States it peaked at No.8 in the Billboard Hot 100, whilst the soundtrack album went right to No.1! A 'Gold' disc affair!

She is so young here! And she opens with a touch of girlish purity, and hardens as the song develops. So much more compelling than the studio version!

This teaching is totally wrong! God forgives a person, the moment they ask God to forgive them! The Baptism is to be performed AFTERWARDS, as a sign of faith and obedience to God's Word.

Her voice used to be so light back then. I know her voice well from 78 onwards but I seldom find earlier clips. The tone remained similar but the power she acquired from 76 on was insane .
