Just my thoughts on the light bearing sidecar holsters that Davis Tactical makes. I think he should at least offer an option for this bend to be done as it makes a HUGE difference to the comfort and concealability. After making the modifications I am very happy with it.

Very interesting stuff, the way your handguard attaches reminds me of a smarter way to do the system that the tubee 22 uses. I recently been working with a buddy of mine to design a 3d printable 22 bolt hold open extension that would slip over a normal 556 LRBHO but I have been having trouble finding a material that is rigid enough to print with. Closest I have come is CF-PC which is quite rigid but due to how high temp it prints at I have been having trouble printing a part that small. PLA, PETG, NYLON, and ABS, aren't nearly rigid enough. Cool stuff.

That’s a great design! What layer height are you using? Also what brand of filament? Looks very clean.
This was printed with eSun ePA-CF at .2mm layer heights with a .6mm nozzle. It’s one of the cheapest CF nylons and behaves a bit different than most other reinforced nylons, mainly because I believe the carbon is powder and not fiber strands. It has a higher degree of toughness and when printed thin it is pretty flexible, especially after it hydrates. I can take a piece of filament that’s been sitting out and has absorbed moisture and tie it in a knot without it breaking. The grip was printed with CF nylon from 3dxtech, and it is much stiffer with a rougher texture.

Can you do a video on the micro magwells? Just want a better look cause the fde one on the site to me ain't looking to hot. Assuming its fuzzy texture but its not a very flattering picture. The black looks perfect though. Edit: Never mind found someone else's video of it and the fuzzy texture matches the stippling almost perfectly. Gj

@@SOURPATCHKIDD1 both versions will accept PSA and OEM Glock magazines, the one without cutouts will not let you grab the side of the base plate if you need to strip it from the gun. The slick side version prints through clothing less

Mines arrived today. Very rigid and sturdy, no bending or give when i put pressure on the sides. Install was quick and easy and color match was on point. Compact Dagger SW4 with threaded barrel and RMR. Green slide and magwell, Grey frame.....Looks great!
What do you use to heat up the kydex to put the modified bend into it?
Heat gun. A hair dryer might work too, but I don’t know if it’ll get hot enough

Where did u get ur mag extension from?
That gray extension is a shield arms +5. I believe PSA even sells them. It’s for OEM mags, not PMAGs. PSA just released their own +5 extension for PMAGs with their Sabre line, but I’ve heard of reliability problems with those. The PSA extension looks just like the shield arms extension.
Do u notice any difference in recoil with the added weight of the light? Or changes with the way the gun settles?
It’s been a long time since I shot it without the light so I couldn’t say. It probably helps a little but it’s not like the difference an x300 or TLR1 makes.

I can relate to why JTH started to make Magwells, too was looking for a Magwell I could use on my Gen 5 Glock 19 MOS with backstraps and all I found were expensive backstraps that only work without the backstrap. I was so glad I found JTH that I immediately ordered 2, 1 with the side cut and 1 without. Just ordered yesterday so can wait to get them. You're a lifesaver JTH.
Cheap optic bought one had sent it back for a refund. To many issues fresh out the box. Never had this issue with holosun better quality.
So, not much experience w/ this Optic, but shot over 200rnds @ a range w/ solid zero. 3MOA & 10mins auto off, not 14Hrs. Have used other optics in the past where I could see “Dots vs Line” when moving it the optic around. Better than many, may be worse than others b/c battery light.
They must have revised the model. Upon release, auto off was 14 hours.

Yes, the 3 big complaints: 14 hr Shutoff, Refresh Rate and Dot disappear at lower 20% have all been addressed. Shutoff now 10 minutes. I just installed one on a G43x (direct fit) and looking forward to testing this US made product.
Mine came with a screw for the plug, but mention of that in this video. Is it required, when using a backstrap?
If you’re using a back strap, the screw is redundant because the back strap holds the plug in place. It’s not going to hurt anything to use it, but it’s also not necessary
@@jth_printed_designs That's what I thought. Full disclosure, I was about to throw it in the junk drawer after it wouldn't fit. Then I looked up my order and remembered that I ordered the one for use with the backstrap, and I had just taken off the backstrap. Got my head out of my backside and did it right. Works and looks great. I then ordered one for my 48.

@@jth_printed_designs LOL! No, it was my fault. I took off the backstrap to try another magwell. That one didn't fit. I ordered yours and forgot to put the backstrap back on. When I wised up, I put everything together and it works fine.
