4 speed H Model CT70 Unrestored Survivor Candy Topaz Orange
Переглядів 8 тис.2 роки тому
Gorgeous unrestored Honda CT 70. Bought new and ridden sparingly by Ken Thorpe from Portland (Oregon) Honda. It still wears the original license plate and license plate frame. Ken's registration expired in 1972. The expired 1972 sticker is still on the license plate. Shortly thereafter the bike went into long term heated hibernation. The Thorpe family held onto this special CT 70 for many years...

Edmondson Karmann Ghia Judson Supercharger brought to life
Переглядів 2,8 тис.13 років тому
This is the Edmondson Karmann Ghia being reunited with it's original Judson supercharger. The original supercharger was in the hands of a collector in North Carolina. It was found in March, 2011. After many years of being separated the 2 have found each other. The current plan with the Eddy is to get it back into 1/4 mile race trim, official "fighting weight" as it was back in its heyday.

That is the exact bike I had when I was a kid. Bought it used for $325 around 1971. Same, 4-speed, Candy Topaz Orange. It was wonderful! I think I put about 3,000 miles on it.

I had a 1971 CT70H that exact color. I was supposed to get a SL70 but there was a dock worker strike so I had to "settle" for the CT70H. I put 4500 off road miles on it from the age of 13 until I sold it when I was 20. It was $360.00 brand new.

Wow the Bike is Beautifull i’m surprised when you mentioned the reproduction Tires that Corky Coker didn’t wind up with the originalMolds and make a bunch of them that’s kind of something he would have been involved with being the Age he is and aCar and Motorcycle guy in thec1970s i think almost every guy i’ve known learned how to ride on a Honda

That is most certainly not a 54 hull... Late 40"s or very early 50's. Nice find... The straight 6 in that utility is a classic but not much power.

    • @DustinHowell1976

Hello Randall Frank, there was a death in the family and it was willed to a Newphew that had "no interest in boats" and that's a quote. I know because I asked the same question the day I bought it. Different strokes for different folks I guess. The Newphew squirreled it away and a local Chris Craft enthusiast heard about it over a bbq. After some further vetting out, the story and the boat were legit. This video is the end result.

youre lucky to find it in great shape i found a criscraft thet was sitting for at least 37 years or more don,t really know lady died who owned it new 1946 and a friend bought the house from the grandson and he was a tree hugger so boats were dirty to him so it went with the house and he tried to restore it but too rotted so chopped it up and sold the motor and nice brass chrome parts to a restorer i guess the garage had too much moisture in it
