Cedar Rapids Derecho (Land Hurricane) Aug 10, 2020 Iowa POV |120 mph winds|
Oh, Lordy said Lusiana Man 😮
You had a real Graph fight on your hands here.
Lot of talking and not a lot of doing.
Do you work in Georgia?
Audio engineer needed really bad!
So, if I lived in the Cedar Rapids area, you folks would be who I'd turn to for a new stick-built home, hands down. Surviving a 126 mph stress test, with you inside, is a pretty good advertisement! Excellent job! 😊
That annoying music keeps drowning you out! But thanks for the video.
super clean... Nice work
Bad Sound
My man here is definitely getting slapped around on the jobsite
God I'm glad I'm not working under you. Bringing you a pencil might get me fired. Great video though.
Thank you!
that is one stupid design!
Guys you are the best construction workers period. You proved it! Now you deserve a raise!
I mount pencils on my Jet lathe. My line is non-union 0.0005
Oklahoma: many tornadoes Iowa: many derechos
no such thing as a "land hurricane" this didn't share any characteristics of hurricane whatsoever! quit making shit up!
The shot of the golf carts was remarkably inspiring. Strength in numbers, for sure. Thanks for adding that in- and nice build!
I’m Gavin. My name isn’t Gavin, but I’m Gavin. I wanna be right at the edge watching the insanity. Unless my son is with me… then I’m more like the mom. 😂
You got the insanity right. I still think about that day every once in a while
You made that line bigger at the end by going across it 3 times. plus you insulted a imaginary apprentice in the beginning , dude your funny.
Damn, 3:23...I could feel the power through the phone! 😮
For the full effect I would be hanging on in one of those trailers !
You literally went through a Cat 2-3 hurricane for like 20 minutes
19:54 I caught that.
"Be careful to lay your tools down so they don't damage anything." Proceeds to mash his drill into the face frame. LOL
That was absolutely absurd,I was so sure that trailer was going to disappear,I saw at one point earlier in the video, the whole back end moved about 2ft,I was just waiting for it,was there anything inside it?🤔
This wasnt a tornado as that would have been so much worse as those are even more powerful then a Derecho ever could be too. U guys were pros just standing thier and waiting it out. And not panicking neither :) Good job on the house u built too as it withstood this monster storm :)
Cheap particle board cabinets. But, good video.
edge sander ✅
Is it graphite?
I wonder if not having doors, and the angle of the trailer and windows breaking helped that garage from worse damage! There was no pressure , which is a good thing!
New drinking game, take a drink whenever *graphite* appears after he says lead. Bonus game, take a shot when he throws things.
Throwing shit around the customers house. I appreciate the accuracy
❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😊😊😊😊😊
Too much work just use regular pencil
Love the video. Great tips. I am just wondering if there is any issue with installing the cabinets on the floating floor. I have seen other videos where they say not to do it. To just floor up to the toekick. Just wondering what your opinion on it is.
Definitely an issue. If and when the floor needs to move or float, the cabinets, if installed on them, will not allow this and cause your floting floor to buckle up in other areas.
Lolol
What are the sizes of the bits you used for the face frame screws (countersink & the other 2)? Is the 3rd bit to make sure the threads don't grab the wood on the first cabinet?
The smaller drill bit should be sized to the root,( smaller portion of the threaded part), of the screw you are using. This one I will drill to the depth of the length of screw. The larger bit I size to the diameter of the screw threads and yes it is so that this part of the frame can pull together without the threads grabbing. Any type of wood countersink can be used. The key is getting the depth just right to have the screw head perfectly flush with the surface. This just takes some practice. If your placing the screws behind the door hinges to hide them, you want to be sure to get the screw head slightly lower than the surface.
@@clemconstructiongroup1700 Thanks that helps a lot. Do you use the same technique to attach fillers to the end cabinets?
If you’re wanting something cut why wouldn’t you mark it yourself? just curious if your union or a scab¿
33 year card carrier Union Carpenter
I sharpen them and break the graphite .. so frustrating I just use a magic marker now
fits like a gloves babe!
also protect the floor!!
Clem strong, indeed!
You should throw out that trump flag too
Garbage video and audio quality
that audio, holy crap.
Super helpful. Thank you almost bought one of those Home Depot twisting pencil sharpeners but when I saw it was close to $4, I said there’s got to be a better way.
You don't hardly move your lips when you talk. It looks weird.
😂😂😂
Try to be more detail on your videos when you educate. You jump so many steps.
This is one of the most insanest Hurricane Clips I ever seen. And you know what? It is always a dream of a house owner that his house would withstand those horror Storms like that and you guys make that dream happen. And your Handcraft is impressing me even more than the storm already. A house withstands 120 mph? With almost no damage? Damn, that's stunning, man.
I use a lyra mechanical pencil
