This is so Beautiful i feel things for this car holy.

I mean one thing you can do is just punch in the license plate into the registry and see what comes up. If its a kit car it wont say Lamborghini. But regardless thats a real Lambo as far as I can tell. There are too many things right with it and so far nothing wrong. So the odds are extremely low its a kit car. Hell even the inside of the hood is correct which a kit car wont be.

How could someone be so fucking dumb to think this was fake lambo .. the kits never never line up right !!! and it’s super easy to tell by life style .. a Pontiac kit isn’t costly .. a real LP is .. and of course. Pontice has a garbage v6 in them not even an 8

Arm room in driver side is normal..you'll always see people driving with the window down for more arm room. Those bulky seats dont help. Sorry man..thats shitty on the sellers part. This is the perfect example of "lipstick on a pig" owner of 2 Land Rovers, btw. Good luck man. Hope u get it sorted.

Take it from a guy who grew up in the 80s and has lusted after this car for 40 years. As a kid I had every Countach poster available at Toy’s R Us and Spencer Gifts, and I still have one on the wall to this day. I even had the Lamborghini Countach Trapper Keeper in 5th grade. I’ve seen every Countach video on UA-cam there is to see. THIS COUNTACH IS ABSOLUTELY REAL!!

The rear axle on that needs changing regardless, it's a Discovery 1 V8 axle and is not rated for a 110 - either a Salisbury (DANA60) type axle which is what it probably would have had from factory, or a later TD5 / Puma type axle with at P38 Range Rover Diff. Even then I would be looking at getting all the HD goodies from Ashcroft's or Winchester Gears. Rear crossmember is common to go, but isn't difficult to replace if the rest of the chassis is in good condition, I would check all the outriggers and body supports, particularly behind the front wheels where crap gets caught. I would imagine the LT230 probably hasn't been upgraded - for that power a sleeved casing and a hicap sump. Seats I would replace with some from Exmoor Trim, they are the same style seats, but have removable bases and sliders to move the seats back and forth. They are worth the money and maintain the way the original seats worked. LOF or Alcon big brake kit for that kind of power. Depending on what lift it has, the angles are probably all wrong and you need castor corrected arms. I would probably also replace bushes with Superpro bushes. Hub seal looked to be split, and by rights it should be leaking, but it looks dry so it could be that the axle is very low on EP90 Roll cage is Safety Devices, but missing the internal structural parts, you might be able to buy the missing bits from them.

It's the crazy wheels causing a ton of problems.

That crazy over size wheel on the back door will destroy the hinges and frame in short time. It should have a wheel carrier. Also that would let you actually get your hand in there to open it. Don't slam it shut. The wheels are causing big problems. It would be much better to use normal or military 16" rims with , 255/85 on there, better still 235/85 and put the original arches back on. 🙄

80's supercars are a thing of pure beauty. Rare to see a red one.

Ever since I was a kid, always been a dream car. Not the fastest thing by todays standards. Even my current mustang easily gaps current lambos and has many lambo kills. But I will gladly give it up for this.

I would start after fix the brakes/steering/suspension by giving a fresh start striping everything that is hanging like the rollbar, the falling parts on interior, new set of OEM seats from another car that fits in to restore the ergonomics and smaller tires without spacers so you can make it more "daily friendly" look more "cleaner" and know what is going on underneath all that cosmetic stuffs.

That will always be one of my favorite cars and also the F 40
