I genuinely enjoy your videos. I never thought I would sit and watch such ride clips, but I do. Each clip offers a lot of learning, and as cameras improve, they become more compelling.

Dude, that was badass! I didn't even know they do races around that area! I'm always riding around that area Sunday mornings because I like the lack of traffic and the little hills. But mainly, I do a loop around the university! I'm nowhere near as athletic as the people in this video, but man, I assure appreciate a good long video as this one that allows me to do my exercise bike at home while I pretend I'm in there racing top! 😅😅😅

Stay up front for fast climbs and when approaching traffic signals. I had a rider directly ahead of me decide he wasn't going through the intersection with the group ahead of him and started panic braking. Trying to slow down and avoid him, I was hit by the rider behind me, taking a brake rotor to the derailleur and seat stay.

New sub here! Nice videos you got. This is my favorite so far because of the extended time at the start where you went around and showed the bikes while everyone was waiting for the ride to start.

Where specifically in San Diego?

San Diego has some beautiful road's to cycle on and some great climbing which can be very challenging to do with a fast group. Never the last, I would still do it even when they dropped me!

He is ALL over the dam place! When I encounter cyclists while on my rides, I'll usually slot in when I see 2 x 2 pacelines with an open slot for me. If I'm faster than the group, I'll just announce my passing and go around safely. No need to start buzzing around an ordering group like this.
