Is there any way to play this character as Lawful Evil? How would you replace the 2 Paladin levels?

New player have no idea what I'm doing and went for a Aasimar psycho kineticist with fire elemental and did pump dex a bit but it seems utter shit. Fire blast misses most of the time and I can only use fire arc once before needing to rest to get it back. Only level 2 but every combat encounter is hell and super long so no idea what I should be doing to get this to work

All you did was stack weak early game enemies together and cast an aoe spell. Not that impressive and definitely not changing my mind.

Would a similar build work in Wrath of the Righteous?

To be fair, this isn't what people mean by early game as you have fireball. Based on my experience with Kingmaker/WotR, casters being weak is somewhat of a more complicated debate. They are very strong party members due to the buffs/debuffs/AoE/CC they offer which is why you always want to have one in your party. Where they are weaker than the melee classes lies in outright damage. They have a limited number of spells (which is an issue in WotR where you can't spam resting due to the corruption mechanic) and a lot of the enemies have high resistances to elemental damage and spell resistance, especially on the harder difficulties. You can build casters to completely bypass certain types of elemental damage but you an only pick one meaning that caster will be weak, if not useless against others. My conclusion is that the question itself is a bad question as you want both in your party as they compliment each other. Melee for outright damage and casters for buffing/debuffing/AoE/CC as well as support damage

Why casting spells is so slow in this game? Timer shows 0,0 but you casting. That's bad design.

Casters would win you the game after they get the web spell, and a couple similar that would bind enemy and let you shoot them/take one by one. But in terms of dps - yes, casters are weaker than others because they don't add this +8 bonus from stats to damage and don't get additional +3 from weapon enchantmen etc. And in the same time slots are spent in a blink of an eye. So, don't use casters for dps use them for control/support/dibuff. And when theyre not casting that, let them shoot crossbows or something
