    I am so glad I just happen to watch your video on UA-cam. I have had my locs a little over 5 years. They are long and my locs were starting to feel heavy. First I was doing my retwists wrong. I did what you said in the video. My locs do not feel heavy any more. My locs feel light and soft. Thank you so much for the great video. Paula😊

    I have blonde straight hair and this has helped a lot. Im doing semi freeforms and 9 months in. The whole time Ive been twisting both sides clockwise. I realixed my hair wants to curl into the way that you have shown. It also made my hair look uneven when doing all my locs in the same direction. Thank you for this

    How is there no buildup when you're using a solid substance? 🤔

    • @AquaLady153
      @AquaLady153 13 днів тому

      There will always be buildup. No matter what ppl say. Science proves it as fact. No matter how one formulates their product, its inevitable.

    • @thehouseofisisco
      @thehouseofisisco 7 днів тому

      Great question! When shea butter is combined with ingredients like vegetable glycerin and not beeswax or gels it has the ability to penetrate the hair shaft, not sit on top, allowing you hair to receive the nutrients it needs. Therefore, no buildup on the scalp will occur. I'll have to make a video explaining more😇

    What's your view on liquid shampoo vs bar shampoo for locks? I figured bar shampoo would actually help lock hair faster because it's like taking a sponge to the hair. But I could be wrong. I've been thinking about using soap nuts because soapnuts is all natural and if used with water should leave nothing in your hair. Plus it fathers incredibly well. I've made shampoo bars out of a soap baised bar and soapnuts and it leaves the hair squeaky clean.

    I love interlocking without the latch. I originally started doing this when I knew nothing about locks. I generally interlock my hair after about 2 months of growth. And I make sure I never feel pain during the interlocking process. If you feel pain, you're doing it too tight. You should NEVER get alopecia. If you do that person doesn't know how to lock hair even if they have been locking hair for years. Even crocheting your locks you should never feel pain at all.

    if retwisting at home with no form of blow dryer, are locs able to air dry well enough to ensure all product is absorbed, etc.? (or is there a better alternative?) would want to make sure the style is set in enough before removing any clips! i know you said about 30 mins under the dryer, but if one wasn't accessible how long would be best to keep the clips in/for the roots to dry completely? thank you so much!! ♡ you are both absolutely radiant, love your energy!

    • @thehouseofisisco
      @thehouseofisisco 7 днів тому

      Hi Love! the great thing about our products is it doesn't need a dryer for them to melt or penetrate the hair shaft. It does this alone with your body heat. So, if no dryer is present air drying is fine, you don't need to the let the clips sit for too long but please be sure to air dry well and because locs can hold mold if not properly dry.

      Greetings welcome to the loc family! Acv is apple cider vinegar rinse that some people use to remove buildup. It’s very harmful to locs and ruins the porosity of the hair. I always recommend using buildup-free products from the start of your journey our loc’d care kit is an excellent choice it’s vegan & buildup-free.
