Hello everyone! I started doing UA-cam with the intention of making videos on chainsaws leafblowers etc but I moved on to do more review based videos on cars trucks etc. I also do videos on how to help people with things such as buying used vehicals and used equipment I hope you find something you like!

My goal is to get a TTr 125 or 225 anywhere I should look for a good one?
I found this one on marketplace but thatsba good place to start. There are other sites online but marketplace is my go to thing to look for stuff
5 or 6 bucks isn't much of a discount
Ok
Ok
Ok
LoL, sounds pretty good
W content but just keep doggo inside when operating chainsaws, better safe than sorry.
Got mine today. They updated the manual to 50:1 and they done away with the case and only give a bar sleeve. Drill two hole and throw a bungee on it. Mine was brutal to start out of the box and didn’t like the choke on, but once I got it, it starts first or second pull. Worked just fine first use cutting up to 20” logs. My chain wasn’t bad.
you got a heck of a deal a $ 500. I just bought one low hour for 2,200 cannot wait to ride it.
Hey Jason, not sure if you still have this saw if you do could you upload a video showing the chain brake assembly?
As soon as I get time i will!
Why did you say you put a red can of 50:1 when the chainsaw comes with 40:1 oil and the tag you pulled off clearly says 40:1? You need the green gas can of 40:1. Guess you should have read the instructions instead of throwing them off to the side. You should do the proper thing in the video so people don’t copy you and damage their tools 👍🏼. Some newer versions of this chainsaw from Lowe’s use 50:1 ratio. But this is not the case with what you showed in the video.
This is about the most piss poor video I've ever seen.
I’ve been looking for a decent new dirtbike and I found one for $350 dollars hopefully goes well and I come home with a new toy tomorrow
Good luck!
@@jasonc7503 thanks but it didn’t work out so maybe in the future though
So you bought another Poulan, brilliant!!!!!!
One ethanol free gas in you don’t have issues I let it sit for years with ethanol free gas no problem
Hope you didn’t put that 50:1 fuel in her!! It calls for 40:1!!
best way to keep the bike for winter is change the oil if it is time or if you are willing too and put fresh high quality Fuel on the tank plus gas stabilizer. that keep moisture away from the lines and carbs…
I have the exact same the only difference is mine has a troybilt sticker
Me to
ya, after the mower arrives in USA from China, a part time minimum wage worker from Honduras screws on the seat and steering wheel and then slaps the "made in USA" sticker on it. gotta love those "made in USA" mowers!
Actually this was infact made in the USA with a lot of us parts. I have put together some of these mowers from crates. A lot of parts are from the us.
As well as this particular weedeater. You would be surprised how much of it is infact made in the USA.
Is there a kick start?
Unfortunately no.
Pro tip: get somebody to hold the damn camera for you.
Hey I have a ? I noticed you put 50 to 1 mix in the saw it calls for 40 to 1 any issues ?
Nope no problems at all. I honestly think it runs a bit better but I try to do what is recommended and if all u got is 50-1 ill do that but longevity wise it is best to do what's recommended.
Any updates on this? I just bought myself a 2003 TTR225 myself the other day, not a whole lot of videos on this bike on UA-cam
I might do an update now that I think of it since it's been a while. Probably tonight or tomorrow I'll get a video going
Love it!
I'm learning for the first time. Very informative! Exactly what I needed! Thank you!
Any videos for chain adjustment...instructions recommend adjustment after first use. Also for chain removal and reinstalled?
I have an older craftsman saw and it starts easy also. My new stihl is a nightmare to start.
Yeah iv had nothing but the worst luck with sthil products. Always have so I stay away from them as well as Husqvarna but that's just due to my experiences and those of people i know.
Thank you! I've never worked a gas powered chain saw before, this was exactly what I needed!
Glad I could help!
I just bought a not so minty but it's all there for 90$
Really what's wrong with it ?
I just realized how new this is. I just baht one of these used for $100. I was wondering what I was getting myself into. Budget is an issue. Thanks for the review!
Yeah. For the price point it's a great mower. Way less than most big brands such as Husqvarna or craftsman. Plus gas engines I don't care what anyone says will definitely outrun a battery. Battery's are only good in terms of next to no maintenance. But this mower will Definitely do the job for majority of people. As I Said every single day hours on end in heavy conditions it won't do as strong as some high end strong mowers. But for a normal home owner with Normal maintenance it will definitely be a good mower depending on how it taken care of. Minus front wheel drive its a great mower.
geez your car is dirty inside
Worst review. It probably had old gas in it. When you put it away fill gas, add Stabalizer and it long enough you get stabilized fuel into the float bowl. Only able to sit through this for 10 minutes
COOL!
How much did you pay for it
Around the 300 dollar mark. It's been a few years but it was less than 500
@@jasonc7503is that the normal price for these?
Hopefully picking one up tomorrow 😀
Really? That's awesome +
For the most part they’re great bikes but the way the carb was designed is really dumb and I would take off the front chain guard because if you happen to break that chain it’s gonna put a whole in your crank case
Yeah thanks for the advice. And the carb is a pain I gotta say I'm not looking forward to replacing it down the road if the need comes up
run it on aviation fuel! don’t run it dry
Aviation fuel?
IDK why anyone would waste money by running aviation fuel in it? The compression ratio on these is only 9.5:1 , so there's no reason to even run premium in it, that's regular gas cr, the best thing would be is to run ethanol free gas, aka non ethanol gas, which I've also heard referred to as marine fuel, or clear, so maybe that's what u mean by aviation fuel? The reason to run noneth is that the ethanol in pump gas is what causes the degradation to the rubber parts in carbs like fuel lines an diaphragms, as well as gunking up when left over winter, with noneth gas, none of that is an issue, and it usually comes in premium grade octane 92-94, pretty much anything that runs off a carb can benefit from non ethanol gas
@@rokstr222ify aviation fuel is non ethanol…
@@briarstern1261 yeah, no, you've been misinformed, I would know,I literally pump gas for a living, and the station I work at is somewhat of a specialty since we sell non ethanol, and there's never been anyone who's come in saying they need avgas, which if you look up on Wikipedia, is either leaded gas, or a more kerosene like jet fuel, but definitely not non ethanol
@@rokstr222ify listen all i know is i used to work at a boat yard, and i go to the airport, get av gas and winterize boats with it. because it’s ethanol free

My neighborhood friend just gave me a ttr125 frame for FREE. Its got many welds and also cut metal, etc, but i am practicing my welding fabrication skills, and i already plan on doing many custom things to it. I'm a 2 stroke guy, and i plan on putting an 85cc 2 stroke engine on mine. Another friend has a cr85 and LOTS of extra parts and a fine extra fork. Even a whole extra frame!!! I was going to buy his cr85 frame, but since i got my ttr125 project now, and also it looks like this bike's a bit bigger than the cr85, im gonna buy the fork and a wheel from him, and then start building up the rest. And my other friend has a yz85 engine he's selling for 400!!
That sounds very interesting good luck to you
You grabbed the spark plug and said “replace the carburetor “.
I saw that and I was like umm that’s not where the carb is
Anyone know where I can find a stock pipe for mine? My fmf racing pipe is too loud and pisses all my neighbors off
Well I'd go to Yamaha call them that's about the only way I know of other than finding a junk yard with bikes if you are lucky
@@jasonc7503 Yamaha doesn’t have any for mine cause it’s a 98 but I might look on facebook market
@@tuckercooper4145 yeah a 98 could be more outdated. It’s hard to find parts an pieces nowadays. That’s why it’s best to do eBay in my opinion. eBay has money back so if it doesn’t work or is broke you can return it. But marketplace may help as well.
I will trade you my stock
Beast machine 💪
You can get a brand new carburetor for that bike for $37 on eBay I know because I’m getting one for my daughters bike today it needed some parts and the damn parts together cost more than a brand new already built carberator for that bike so there is a cheap fix.
Thank you for mentioning it but it runs flawlessly now after I cleaned it.
IDK why people don't do more research when it comes to these cheap eBay or Amazon carbs, these are replica carbs, meaning ,the carbs that come on name brand bikes, are name brand carbs, like Keihin or mikuni, these cheap carbs are very cheap for a reason, because they are cheaply made Chinese copies and are missing many important features that are on the real carbs, which cost anywhere from $100 to $600 or more for a real Keihin or mikuni carb depending on the Application
Just bought mine for 1000 let my buddy ride it and he dumped it on the pavement then whiskey throttled it and flipped it on the other side broke the foot break peddle wich they don’t make anymore and I can’t find. broke the gear shifter and ripped out the foot rest peg so I’m trying to find parts but I like it a lot for trail riding
Ouch. That had to be hard to deal with. The thing with parts is i had to buy similar parts to similar biked one time. But I know parts aftermarket can be annoying to find. First time I rode it I was going round a turn came to a stop in what I thought was neutral (still learning the bike ) it was in second gave it has to rev it up next thing I know I'm staring at the sky and went right into a huge latch of pricker bushes. Got really cut up but I laughed the whole time! I did bend the foot peg real bad on a dirt road but managed to use a hammer to bash it into shape again but ultimately baught a new one that winter off a local dealer who helped out. If I were you and depends on money I'd call up any dealer that sells bikes see what they got in stock bring the old part with you and see if it matches up. You'd be surprised at how often other brands will match up. Had it happen with this bike. Couldn't find a clutch lever at local yamaha dealer went to a honda dealer matched up perfect baught it. The look on his face when I told him it will fit my yamaha perfect was priceless he was a mix of mad and confused but it worked as I thought ! Good luck. And another place although not as common if you know about any duet bike tracks that hold races like legitimate races then there's typically venders there selling anything you can imagine even if racing isn't your thing it'd be worth to check out !
They don't make a 6.2 liter Tremor, come on man!
Well from what I was told that day is that there in deed is a 6.2 I figured I sounded wrong but that's just what several people at Ford had told me. So I just mentioned it. But I understand odds are there are none and after research I found there weren't. But I lack the ability to easily rerecord videos so I had to leave this video as such. Thanks for the input though!
I have the exact same bike and it sat for ten years so me and my dad restored it and fixed it
porg thats awesome to hear! I how is it now(
Great it runs just like new
porg thats good to hear!
Can you post a video and @ me because I need to fix the Carborator and the gaskets/seals on the pitcock valve
I have a ttr with many miles on. I also had the bog/hestiation issue. I found it was an air flow issue. A good start would be to change the air filter. Thats fix got rid of the bogging cheaply.
Yeah I did look at mine and it was dirty I cleaned it which helped a lot. And a funny thing as well is the exhaust in that bike is very restrictive. It might not seem like it but it is. I took it off at the half way part right under where your right leg would be just above the foot break. I didnt take it off to run it that way but as loud as it was I had no choice to run for a day with half the exhaust on. (Dont recommend this because the main part that hooks up to the engine is the only thing holding the rest of it in place and will fall off with vibrations) but it instantly gave the bike way more power. I mean I was shocked as to the power output it increased to. I was never able to spin tje tire in 3rd gear or even second. With lack of restrictions on the exhaust it gave it way more power. That's why I gotta find a better exhaust system for it in the next year or so. I would make shorter videos on stuff like that but I dont think many people would watch it. But maybe I will regardless.
Urs is better than mine and mine cost me 1000
Well it was just a lucky steal as cheap as it was and I knew the guy (who coincidently had like 3 four wheelers avd 2 bikes) didnt know nothing about macanics. He was the type who paid to have everything fixed. I just had the know how. That being said the moment I read "runs but not very good cabt keep it running smooth" I knew it was a good idea to ask about it. He had only road it 2 times in 3 years and barely 10 minutes each time. That being said he had old gas so it just gummed up the carb. 5 minutes after getting it home it ran perfect. So that's my idea find something that runs but not very well just get it for a steal. If you have the know how that is. Try some good old carb cleaner like sea foam worse comes to worse take apart the carb and clean it reseal it with new gaskets and you'll be golden! Most of the time that is (as long as it is carbonated. If it is electronically fuel injected that can be tougher to diagnose. )
@@jasonc7503 oh that explains alot,a lot, subscribing by the way
@@racerwriggle1728 haha thank you and yeah it does. Look at my channle I baught a 2005 ford ranger 5X4 4.0 as well for 300 dollars so yeah I do te d to find good deals. Not often sadly I will find a deal of these calibers Mostly 1 time a year or so if I'm lucky maybe 2 or 3 times. Like mowers etc. Hope you enjoy your bike regardless!
1700 too much for one?
Well it depends on the condition and the year if the bike. I just tend to find pretty good deals on things. I found this at a complete steal. I tried for the longest time avd could never find a working bike in even close to this good of shape that was higher than a 150 for less than 800 dollars. So it really depends. I could not financially afford it being over 400 dollars. But that price may be worth it especially if it has low hours and good condition. My advice go their trailer or truck in tow. Bring the full amount. Act serious about purchasing it. And a little trick I found Is (even if you do not know look it up what common problems and common wear points such as chain guard and chain tensioner) anything that you find in poor condition make sure you point it out. Offer him a lower price such as 750 see his reaction based off that you can tell how he will play out negotiating. Of he is nonchalant about it but says no say 850 I take it home right now. See where that gets you. Look on my channle. I found a 2005 ford ranger 4.0 V6 4X4 for only 300 dollars. I could make a video on how I find such good deals if people would like that type of video. Good luck regardless!!!!
@@jasonc7503 thanks dude
You should get a small clutch lever so that when you drop it the handlebar will hit before the lever so that it won’t break As much
I considered it but I could only get a normal clutch lever but the break lever on the right is broke its half the size it normally was so I just left it as so. But fir the clutch I put it so it's a tiny bit high so If I do dump it it will land on the side of the handlebars not the lever!
