Great video! No unnecessary chit chat. Thank you very much
Nice! But. You didn’t tighten the belt?
Appreciate the video. I just bought set at the same price of 34.97,glad to know about the magnetic extensions, I was scared to pull it out. I got a $299 combo deal of impact driver and drill plus choice of third tool. Choose the oscillating blade. What do you think of that ,deal or no deal . [All this at home depot labor deal sales]
The 998 excels with the 8ah battery that’s what was in the kit I got
To bad it’s mounted wrong has to go to edges
Now that's a solid review thank you
Thanks, I couldn't figure out how to uninstall mine until I saw this.
very detailed
Man i wish you were my dad. Thanks for making this review bro
Thanks for watching! Glad I could help
Hola, a ese precio publicado cuanto queda en total mas impuestos?
Dear Sir, I have the50 pcs set, and your explanation allows for me to have a better understanding about the bits, and extensions. Thank you!
Thanks your video.
Nice! All work and no talking. It’s funny that some people do so much irrelevant talking.
Wow, if I was unsure before I’m not anymore, thank you!
Nice review! I was just lookin at this vise.
Question . I put my belt on but it’s hard to pull the start and it wants to keep going when I turn it on . What can be the problem ?
You didn't install the brass idler for the belt, it goes between the drive clutch and backing plate.
Thanks
Hey Randall, just checking in. Hope all is well sir. God bless.
Hey my friend. Everything is great just been hanging out with my grandson while I take a break from UA-cam. Glad to hear from you 😊
Will this fit all Milwaukee compacts & drills ?
Yes it sure will. Thanks for watching
I can't believe people don't realize I need to do is get the belt started off the side of the pulley and push the cart ahead the belt Will Roll right off like a chain on a bike
Taking a singular bolt out and just pulling the clutch makes more sense seeing as you need to take it apart to put a new one on without risking fucking the belt up. You should be checking the condition of your clutch after every belt replacement anyway.
I am thankful you posted this. I am having an issue where the axle that’s connected to the clutch pulley somehow got bent in extreme heat and years of hard driving. How much of a process would it be to replace that axle/sprocket? Thanks for any advice
Just got the 72pc online from home depot for $20. An absolute steal
I might just buy this so I can get the bits out easier 😂
your desciption says 30 series..your amazon link is to the 40 series...is that incorrect or doesn't it matter? thanks
Can u tel me how to fix the brakes from it plz
12" jaw vise rate kya h
In fixing the vice to the bench l have found it useful to allow the fixed jaw to protrude slightly beyond the bench top to allow long work to be held…….ln choosing a vice look out for a cast steel sucker they never falter.
Maths is hardee
This was great. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thx this helps a lot 😇😇
You are welcome.
I got a 5in swivel vice. I weld random stuff so being able to put it into a comfortable position is really helpful. Looking forward to the next review . Some tools just get worn too quickly, so another updated review after use would be great! Keep up the good work!

4:33 That's a nice looking drill bit. Can you tell me what brand it is?
You can find these at Lowe's. Thanks for your comment
Excuse me where did you find these?
Bought a barely used one for my kids for Christmas, rode it for about 2 hours, belt busted. No big deal, but do you think going ahead and changing all these parts is needed or just the belt? Thanks
I would just replace the belt. They are bad about breaking especially if it has sit for a little while.
Can anybody tell me the threading on that 21 mm nut where the key stock goes is. I’m having a hard time locating that nut. Thank you. Oh and where to possibly just buy the nut?
@toolife101 brother what do you call the pin and screw that go on the other side of where you are working? The gear ⚙️ by the brake disc. My kids lost the screw that goes in there and now the cart will not move.
Question do you have any idea why the entire clutch comes off and no matter what I do I cant get the back plate off?
First real hammerdrill I owned was a brushed dewalt. Absolute tank. Over 10 years and thousands of tapcons and it still runs. Good choice sir.
I have used this so much since I bought it and I am very happy with it. Thanks my friend and I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving
@@toollife101 Glad to hear it. Tools aren't cheap! Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family as well my good man.
Project Farm tested this vise. It came in 2nd place after a $500 vise.
I am very pleased with this vice. I would recommend it to anyone needing a good smaller size vice. Thanks for commenting and have a great and blessed Holiday.
Hey guys, I viewed the Project Farm review test as well, and I was sold, but then I realized that the product tested on Project Farm was Central Forge and not Central Machinery. Today, I called a few Harbor Freight locations & they confirmed that Central Forge & Central Machinery are different manufacturers. I look forward to your review of your Central Machinery Vise.
What is the recommended mounting hardware for this vise?
What type and size of hardware did you mount it with? I bought the same vise and the holes appear to be 11mm (just under 7/16") on my inside diameter caliper, but the biggest drill bit that fits for size reference purposes is 10.7mm (27/64"). I'm struggling to find the right size bolts. 1/2" is gonna be too big and 3/8" is gonna be too small. Based on the drill bit reference, a 7/16" will also be too big. I already drilled 27/64" holes in my bench before realizing I can't find bolts that size. Do you have any advice?
I just used some three inch timber lock screws I got at Lowe's. I have a double 2x4 table top and it gave the screws plenty of meat to grab a hold of. So far no problems.
@@toollife101 I found the answer I was looking for. I searched online about proper bolt to hole sizing and learned that a hole should be 1/16" bigger than it's intended bolt in diameter. I also saw that most vises take either 3/8" or 1/2" bolts. Adding 1/16" to 3/8" = 7/16", which is roughly what my calipers measured for the inside diameter of the mounting holes, 11mm even to be exact. A 7/16" drill bit doesn't fit in the vise's holes though because the bit's actual measurement is 11.11mm. I had already drilled 27/64" holes in my bench earlier since that bit fits nicely through the vise's holes. I decided to just stick with that instead of drilling them larger to 7/16", because the 3/8" bolts already fit with plenty of space, and they worked perfectly with no play in the vise's security once tightened down. I also used a flat washer and a lock washer on both ends of the vise.
Thanks Doug. I have a 10 year old grandson and he loves his go kart. A drift kart would be Awesome. Have a great weekend.
But how does it do on solid concrete not to mention what Poured floor with expansion filler
It does an Awesome job on solid poured concrete. Best hammer drill I have ever owned. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a Great Weekend.
Brand new bit. Let me see after thats been done 100x
It is a Milwaukee 3/4 carbide masonry bit. In my experience they hold up extremely well. Also I would like to point out that any type of bit or blade that gets used hundreds of times will dull. No matter brand or material. Thanks for watching my video. Have a awesome weekend.
I have a quick over view video located here if interested, thanks for watching ua-cam.com/video/FgIGXVaWShg/v-deo.html
