Drumheads! Have a listen before you put them on your drums!!
Here is a quick tip regarding drumheads. Make sure you go through your heads and match them up based on their sound. Hold the metal ring and gently tap in the center of the head. You will notice that each head will have a different amount of slap, tone, sustain etc. Build sets of heads with similar characteristics so when you do a head change, your kit will have a consistent sound profile between each tom. #drumtech #remodrumheads #roadies #drums #drumtuning #recording #tone

Here are some shots of the custom kit I designed with the help of a few talented artists for Ray Luzier on the Korn Follow The Leader 20th Anniversary Tour in 2018. He is great but to me.. it just doesnt fit the band. Too much overplaying. Too choppy with all the fills. Still on the 1 and all but David had something else that made Korn

He is good, but he doesnt have that groove that made KoRn special. Ray is more of a technical metal drummer. It just doesn't fit and it even effected fieldys flow as well. KoRn needs Dave back and Ray can play for a tech death metal band

Is this snare drum a one piece solid shell or welded with a seam?
this is a rolled brass snare with a seam. I think it has been discontinued but it's a great snare drum. Like I said in the video, it was Barry Kerch's main snare for a few years.
Nice drum. I've always found that a brass shell with die-cast hoops are two tasty ingredients for a good sounding snare. I already know it's going to sound good. I don't care what the brand is. Brass is brass.
This brass shell gives a nice big open tone and the die-cast hoops add a big attack. I am a big fan of brass snares.
Are those pure sounds for a 14” they look short or is that how they are I don’t know pure sounds
Yes those are 14" 30 strand Puresound wires. They may be a little shorter than 20 strands to make space for the width but they are for a 14" snare. Check them out here... www.lessonsquad.com/items/908159983
