Hopefully your tanks don’t swell like mine did. Suuuuper hard to get the things on the mounts and secured when they do.

You neglected to show us the backside of the gas can with the mounting plate attached. My mounting plate does not attach to the mount. The screws are not the correct size. The holes are far too small for these size screws and the carriage bolts are even larger and I’m unsure what I’m supposed to do with those.

I have no clue how to attach the mounting plate to the mount itself. The screws are too big for the holes.

Very vague video. You did not show us how you got the bracket into the gas can. Sounds silly but I’m confused. I have all these screws, nuts and bolts and no instructions whatsoever beyond a ounce of paper that shows up step 1. What about step 2 and 3 and so on…). I’m somewhat mechanical but lost on this one. I guess I’ll hevt ti search for other videos from civilians who have done it themselves.

Fits my 2023 rzr I got the 2” mounts.

25 people that I know that got these Rotopax junk gas plastic crap, they all LEAK, and they expand now you can't stack 2 together no longer save your money they are JUNK!!!!

Can I attach/mount a Rotopax gas can to my Frontrunner ladder? The ladder is not bolted to the 4Runner, so I’m not sure about the weight of the container + gas bouncing on the rear hatch while off road. Thanks 👍🏻

I already have RotopaX RX-3EXT Extension Pack - 3 Gallon Capacity, and RotopaX RX-TM Spare Tire Carriers , One Size, Black and I have RotopaX RX-3G Gasoline Pack - 3 Gallon Capacity on order for an April delivery. An expanded view of how it goes together would be an awesome aid to promote what appears to be a very good product, even if the price seems a bit steep.

Do they come with an extra back plating or is that sold separately?

The locks seize up over time resulting in a non working lock and then you have to dismount your rotopax by taking out the mount bolts from behind. Be sure to watch all videos of how many people have their locks seized before buying

My advice is to avoid purchasing this if at all possible. If you must purchase save yourself a lot of grief with two simple adjustments. The door WILL sag when you remove the 4 bolts. Prevent this by shimming it while everything bis still bolted. The tolerances of the unit are not well thought out. The groove for the L brackets is too long on the left side and allows placing the L brackets so they obstruct the mounting holes. Most importantly, the tolerances near the plastic covers are insufficient and can obstruct the motion of the door no matter how much care you exercise before tightening the mounting bolts. Can be fixed by shaving off a bit of the plastic but this issue could have been prevent by pulling in the end of the bracket 1/16 inch. YT does does not allow image upload in the comments or I would have provided an image to illustrate. Minor oversights add to a good deal of frustration and extra work. Finally, the plastic hinge covers are not interchangeable, pay attention when you remove them. My suggestion is not to remove them at all since they provide a useful alignment guide for the placement of the support brackets.

I have to say, your installation instructions are the single WORST instructions to ship with a product. I encourage you to look at what Leitner Designs ships with their products then look at the instructions you send with your locking pax mount. You are better than this. If I didn't already toss the boxes these were shipped in you would have a couple of hundred dollars worth of RMAs. Unacceptable.

Lock don’t work with extension and all mounts r just a bolt so makes no sense just take bolt off back and steal the whole thing need to re invent this Product

Where are the instructions? You only showcased the function of your mounts, but did not give instructions about mounting.

I just tried to install mine. The issue I'm having is that the bottom bolts when removed the back plate falls down inside the tailgate. When I try to put the bolts in they are just not catching that bottom back plate inside the tailgate. Any idea why that back plate is falling down?

I dont understand why none of your mount product details explain what fits the various different sized tanks. Makes it very hard with no details/info.

Just received my deluxe mount... missing lock washers. You'd think for the ridiculous price of these things you'd get all the hardware needed.

instead of making one bracket that works, they make a shitty one that wobbles, a good one, and a better one that locks. Great marketing. 3 different costs.

Just picked up a set of Fuel and Water containers for my RZR. What are the rubber rolls for that come with the mounts????? Do those go on the inside of the clamp --> Rollpax or do they get placed on the mounting bracket --> roll bar??? Thanks!

Your didn't take the screws and washer out of the bag and actually show how to mount them to the frame. All you did is show how to finish mounting. This video really sucks!

What make people think a plastic container is worth $100 dollars?

A load of B.S.. my buddy and I tightened it up tight. We both could grab the wing with a lock and undo off the plastic nubs. If someone had a crescent wrench, your hundred dollar rotopax would effortlessly be gone in second !!!

I liked your install but there wasn't a section on how to install the locks on metal steel panel. I have a red and white containers to install 3 gal' red and a 2 gal white. this needs two locks and different install from the 4 gal you did. can you explain how to install the different systems instead of the most popular for the long haulers. us old people need a little more explaining. thanks

How do i mount rotopax to a teraflex bracket? I dont want the hi-lift just the rotopax. I only see people attaching rotopax to the hi-lift bracket
