Great Aussie Drives
Australia
Приєднався 30 гру 2017
High quality timelapse videos of Australian roads, with a particular focus on my home state of New South Wales. Latest videos in 4K resolution. I have a passion for driving and sharing this country's incredible road network, from city streets to motorways to winding country roads. I hope you enjoy watching my videos as much as I do recording and editing them.
Sydney Gateway Opening Day! Driving Sydney's New Airport Motorway Link [4K]
Join me on a drive through of the completed Sydney Gateway project on its opening day! First, we'll make our
way from the M8 tunnels to the Domestic Terminals via the brand new motorway link. We'll then drive from the
Domestic to the International Terminal, then finally from the International Terminal back to the M8.

Poison are an awesome group I love their music
We are lucky that individuals post these videos of these new tunnels while I haven't found one video uploaded by the govt or even a decent photos of the various tunnel signs and exits so first use drivers know where to go.
What a big waste of money.
1:20 As of November 2024, the New Grafton Bridge has been renamed to the Balun Bindarray Bridge

Beautiful highway dreaming... love Victoria
Beautiful
Top soundtrack, check it out
Another awesome video, taking in the town I grew up in no less! I definitely miss living in that part of the country. Oh and I noticed your note about wanting to drive the Great Alpine Rd - DO IT! :D It's an amazing drive, I've done it a few times and it's one of my absolute favourite roads in the country.
Thanks mate! I'm hoping to drive it next winter
By far the most dangerous trip I have ever taken; terential rain, fog where you can't see past 2m infront of you; this ride is not for any novices nor for anyone travelling at night. There have been numerous deaths.
I don't know what it is but the transition from the A32 to the M4 is soo cool. Going from a rural Highway to a freeway
Great Aussie road trips! Good on you mate!
Another amazing scenic drive! Thank you so much for sharing mate! I am looking forward to your next adventure! Regards, George
Thanks for the support!
@GreatAussieDrives You are very welcome mate!
A stretch I’ve never done in reality or online, I found this fascinating. Certainly learnt a lot! I never knew Bairnsdale had such interesting architecture!
Dare I say the Princes Hwy is more beautiful than the great ocean rd the southern nsw section and the victorian section are so pretty 😊
Bluey’s Jam!
Wonderful drive down under. Really brings us in the mood for new Australia adventures.
Can you drive from sydney to adelaide via broken hill
Nice music and driving
Nihan
Great drive my friend! How would you compare Pacific Motorway/Highway (A1/M1) that you did in series from Byron Bay to near Sydney few years back to Kyushu Expressway (E3, starts at 2 minute and 50 seconds mark in the video) in Japan? Here's the video: ua-cam.com/video/LNCdRspsc9k/v-deo.html
Both are great roads in their own right, the Kyushu Expressway looks more compact though
Beautiful drive and music
Vicroads should put Sydney on its destination signs along the Princes Highway as its final destination
What car you drive again?
Hi, this video was filmed in a 2014 Nissan X-Trail
thanks
Victoria!!
My good mate @DrivesDownUnder has also begun posting driving timelapse videos again on his channel. Be sure to go show him some love if you enjoy this type of content! www.youtube.com/@DrivesDownUnder Check out my video from Traralgon to Pakenham here: ua-cam.com/video/7K1Ysd9mep4/v-deo.html
Will you be continuing up the Princes Highway route towards Nowra and Sydney in the next few videos?
I ended up heading up the Monaro Highway. Lakes Entrance to Bombala via Cann River is currently in the works 😁
Great video mate. Lakes Entrance is a beautiful place
❤I love watching your videos on my big smart t.v. Please do a video on the Casterleagh Highway.
Hello sir, I am starting a new driving channel just like you, I will cover all the best drives in Australia, can you please give me your tips and give me a shot out thank you sir
beautiul driveing
TIME FOR A ROADTRIP
Great drive, beautiful NSW. Enjoyed the music too ❤
Thanks for uploading this. Very helpful.
It'll be 30 years next year since I've been on that motorway, I'd love to do it again someday! Also around 15:30 I get great vibes - Amy Shark grew up around here at Southport🥰🥰
Would you suggest the road is too steep to tow a van with older vehicle?
Assuming you're heading westbound? I reckon you should be ok, though may have to slow down in the steep section through the mountains.
@ heading from Braidwood to Batemans Bay.
Should be no worries then
Aussie🇦🇺 ✌😍😍
what date was this filmed? the marshals post on left before the elbow had moved by bathurst 1000. we were trying to work out if when they made the change if it was before or after the 6hr at easter. this look like its in old location
This was filmed back in April
I used to live in Tuggeranong, Canberra, many years ago. You went past the end of my old street! Loved it there. There's no city with a higher quality of life. I can't remember why I left, but I wish I hadn't.
My hometown Bathurst
We had a similar project in Boston called the big dig. Wish we had tunnels as long as you guys
Do new gympie bypass it's finished
Wonderful! My dad lives at the holiday village on the corner at 1:05, and I live at Leonay. I've done the whole trip a few times, been around the track a few times too. Don't know how it can take 2 minutes!
used to do this every week or so for work... working along that line up to bathurst... the enduring memory is how much power it extracted out of the car as you worked your way UP... I was either driving a turbo six or a V8 and really, that made it bearable... i also did an airport run with four people and their roller bags 20 odd years ago and even a camry v6 wasnt so spritely with all the weight!
Where along here was the old Mt Lambie Road house?
