@TheTiffans Thank you for your concern about the carseat and the gentle explanation! 🥰 Even though carseats aren't designed to take the weight of an adult, they are designed to take crash forces, which you can think of in this very simplistic equation: restraining force = weight x speed (any engineer or physicist will take offense to that, but it does the job of explaining basic crash forces to non-scientific folks, lol). Those crash forces will definitely do more damage than my weight; however, I wouldn't recommended Tigger-bouncing in it. I was careful of the EPS foam in the headwings because I didn't want to break that. Also, all my carseats are training seats and aren't used to transport children, but I do like to offer explanations in case someone else reads it.

@@CarSeatSite Thank you for your reply! Yes, carseats are designed to take crash forces, but they will operate at their best in a crash when the seat is in supreme condition. Doing things like putting an adult fully in the seat/kneeling in the seat during install, etc., can cause concentrated pressure in areas not meant to take that kind of pressure, potentially creating stress marks or even cracks in the plastic. If a stress mark is compromising or a seat is cracked, it may not perform as it is designed to in a crash. It would no longer be fully equipped to handle the crash forces of which you speak.

It's always a good idea to contact the manufacturer and give them that feedback. Sometimes they can make a running change in production and if they do, you may be able to buy a new buckle. If they don't get that feedback, though, they won't know there's a problem.

Double-check your owner's manual for which slot to use when rear-facing. Most carseat manuals will have the wording that the buckle should be in the slot closest to, but not under, your child. You definitely don't want to see a gap between your child and the buckle slot being used because they will slide down as they get comfy in the seat, which causes a slouching "C" shape and affects where their shoulders are in regards to harness height. In that case, it's better for them to sit on the strap until they get closer to that next slot out.

@tracyhongnhungle1279 I've worked closely with Britax in the past and review carseats for them, so I have a closer than average relationship with their reps. It's OK for the headrest on the One4Life to touch the vehicle headrest as long as it isn't pushing the O4L headrest forward, out of position. That's when it can damage the carseat. HTH!

@teresasanfilippo6489 The Evenflo Revolve seats will universally be the easiest to use. However, there are 2 other revolving seats to consider: the Baby Jogger City Turn and the Nuna Revv. The Baby Jogger City Turn's unique feature is that as it turns, it brings the seat toward you by about 7"-great for sore backs. It only rotates in the rear-facing position, though. The Nuna Revv turns beautifully, but is nearly twice the price of the others and it maxes out at 40 lbs. both rear- and forward-facing. I can't help you with which ones will be easier to unbuckle because the federal standards require a specific pressure release on them and manufacturers usually are pretty close to each other in that release range. There's a tool called the Unbuckle Me (amzn.to/3NIy2GX *Amazon Affiliate Link) that is fabulous and is designed by an occupational therapist. Why do you want it to stop locking? If it stops, it’s considered broken because it won’t lock and hold anyone or a carseat in a collision. If you need to put a passenger there, I’d try to put them somewhere where there’s a lap/shoulder belt if it’s at all possible.

Do you mean the folded over piece of webbing that keeps the latchplate from sliding down to the floor? If it's in the way of a lockoff, you may need to slide the carseat to one side a bit in order for the lockoff to close.

Because I already have the nuna rava and wanted to get another nuna but I was going to get this thinking the foot thing was for extended rear facing.

@@alyssabrooke7168 For rear-facing, it's use is for anti-rebound, so it is placed tight against the vehicle seat back. The Rava will give your child a little bit more leg room when RF, but the EXEC does have the booster capability.

Yes, the Revolve360 Slim will work in the Model 3. There's a slight gap between the vehicle headrest and the carseat headrest, which is perfect. You can see pics of it in my M3 here: carseatblog.com/52360/evenflo-revolve-360-car-seat-review.

Yes the evenflo revolving 360 SLIM work on model 3 and the model too but rearfacing you have to move the front passage seat foward can still use that seat if you don't mind begin so close to the dash.

Hi. Are you installing it in a Model X? What I do is pull it as high as I can on the shoulder of the vehicle seat and pull it as snug as I can. It seems to stay like that, but I’ve only had carseats installed for several days at a time since my kids are older now. You could try loosening the tether a smidge to see if overtightening it is causing it to slide down.

Hi. There are several reasons this may be happening. Lift the cover and make sure that the LATCH belt or seat belt (depending on which you're using to install the seat) isn't pressing down on the strap. Also make sure that you're using the same slot in the carseat shell as the cover as that will shorten it. If she's sitting on top of the strap, it may be time to move it to the outer slot position; you can use either slot position for rear-facing.

Hi! It will definitely touch. I would install the seat with LATCH to keep it secure, but not rock solid tight. That way the One4Life headrest won't press into the vehicle's headrest as much. What Britax doesn't want to happen is the carseat headrest to be pushed forward to distortion-it should follow a straight line more or less.

Hi! Yes, you should definitely attach it to a tether anchor. I would try to place it in a seating position that has an anchor available. Your vehicle owner’s manual outlines where they are located. If you don’t have one, Google the model year, make, and model and you’ll be able to find a .pdf version. I do this all the time!
