PVA the wall first. Apply. Give it 24hrs then prepare for quite a bit of sanding. Its still quite soft so seal with Gardz. Two coats of undercoat/primer, then you can top coat.

So is it not advisable to paint masonry such as garden walls and house walls etc in the winter? And if so, why not? I was looking to try get some masonry painting work over the next couple months that’s why I’m asking. Thanks mate
