Is it, we fear what we've been told... Old beliefs can amd keep us trapped...
🥶bro
Very cute story… I enjoyed that one; I didn’t understand the Boy That Ate All His Crusts, though… I’ve heard of all the others… is that a British thing?
beautiful
The pics at the end really brought it together it truly made me smile ❤
One minute feels speed run, well played
자신이 찾고자 하는 사랑을 찾아라. 거기에 인생이 달렸다 ❤love.
Wow this was like a shitty Hulu Ad
I have to shave my palms everyday.
wow
Fantastic!! And hilarious and
I think bro meant the "i release alot* too literally
Right when it started I was like "this guy looks british"
Quite charming and uplifting film.😍
Its a Wallace/ Cherie bliar love child
As an aspiring Filmmaker, there are 3 short-films that inspire me to pick up a camera; Stutterer, Next Floor and now... Cautionary Tale ❤
It's exactly what I thought it would be
Just beautiful, and so clever at the end! Thank you!
lvl 1 mafia noob
Well a great video to show your kids what can happen. Lol
Beautiful Film. That's everyone. We feel so connected to those who can relate to us and our inner person
The credits are as long as the movie
I'm sorry but that was lame
I don't think the message here is about physical deformities but being odd in general. As an odd person myself I can relate. I wish I could transform in to an ordinary person overnight and blend in the world without getting noticed but it's impossible unless I cover myself in a big shopper bag or something. It's so sad that everyone can freely go out and enjoy while I am denied my right to do so.
What’s the music?
I loved this, made me a bit teary-eyed. Beautifully done.
0:29 the dude has the mouth of the clay-mation character Wallace when he has a particular expression that happens commonly in the exploits of Wallace and Grommet
Yep, mum said..if the wind changes..
Whats the story for the boy who ate all his crusts?
We were told as children that eating bread crust would make our hair curly; back then it was a good thing. :)
@@judithl1171 haha still a bit confused on that but appreciate the reply, thanks!
@@beeasy247 Old wives tale from the 50s/60s. ;)
How can i get this music?
Where can I watch this movie
It's an advertisement for Toyota
Such an enjoyable short movie. Very well done, and glad I checked this one out.
Exploring Human Complexity in "Cautionary Tales": An Analysis "Cautionary Tales" presents a poignant exploration of human experiences, delving into the consequences of actions, the yearning for connection, and the complexities of societal perceptions. This analysis dissects the film's elements, cinematography, sound, narrative structure, and symbolism, to uncover the refined storytelling techniques employed and their impact on the audience's understanding of the human condition. The film's cinematography plays significance in establishing the emotional landscape of the characters. The opening shot from behind the protagonist (0:00) sets a tone of isolation through framing and a desolate ambiance. Transitioning to a close shot (0:13) amplifies the character's emotional world, while wide, long angles during walking scenes possibly symbolize his loneliness (0:17-1:20). The use of dimly lit close shots during the bus ride (0:50) intensifies the protagonist's inner turmoil. Additionally, reflections, notably seen at 1:13, add depth to introspection and emotional resonance. Sound design amplifies the emotional depth of the film, complementing the visual storytelling. The melancholic background music during solitary moments (0:00, 1:36) heightens the sense of loneliness. In contrast, the gradual fading-in of background music at the forum scene's turning point (5:20) potentially signifies a shift in perspective. Minimal dialogue allows the visuals and sound effects, like volume variations, to effectively convey the characters' emotional struggles. The film's narrative structure revolves around character development and shared experiences. Primarily focusing on protagonist Aaron's emotional journey, the deliberate pacing emphasizes introspective moments and emotional peaks. The forum setting acts as a platform for character exposition, fostering a sense of community among the characters. Symbolism enriches the narrative, adding layers of meaning to the story. Reflections, dim lighting, and the characters' physical conditions symbolize introspection, emotional struggles, and consequences of actions, respectively. These symbols intertwine to emphasize the film's themes of choices, consequences, and the pursuit of connection. "Cautionary Tales" intricately weaves its elements together to create a profound exploration of human experiences. While excelling in evoking empathy and prompting reflection, the film's explicitness in connecting character conditions to actions and deeper exploration of secondary characters' backgrounds could enhance its narrative depth. To sum up, the film's success lies in its synergy of visual storytelling, sound design, narrative depth, and symbolic resonance, delivering a thought-provoking narrative that resonates with the complexities of the human experience. -For educational purposes.
While the film's sparse discussion and unclear ending may leave some viewers wanting more, this strategy ultimately serves to strengthen its overall impact. "Cautionary Tales" is an intense and thought-provoking short film that goes beyond mere entertainment to offer a profound exploration of human experience. Through its masterful use of cinematography, sound, narrative structure, and symbolism, the film invites viewers into a world of emotional depth and challenges them to consider the enduring impact of past choices. "Cautionary Tales" is proof of the ability of powerful cinematic narrative to inspire and impact audiences while creating a lasting impression that lasts long after the final scenes have turned.
Awesome!!!!
Don't think you're the unique, everyone is the same in some way. Basically, everyone is the same because they are afraid of their differences
Difference is not a burden
We should not change ourselves to fit social standards. Let yourself be the standard to attract people who are like us, or maybe want to be one of us
This came across my watch YT page and I’m so happy I watched this…it was amazing🥲❤️
Can someone explain the crust guy?
We used to be told (in the 50s/60s) that eating bread crust will make your hair curly; it was meant as an encouragement.
@@judithl1171 not just then it continued into the 70s 🇬🇧😁
Forget the sayings! I think others have missed the point! At the risk of sounding cliché it’s as simple as the nose on your face! All except one are in the group because they’re judged by what they look like. It’s what’s inside that counts and too many judge the outside. Liar girl I think didn’t belong. You don’t have to look different to be her.
I love the idea , simplicity , creative but deep
thank you …. brilliant ❤️❤️

It’s a sad Mark Zuckerberg.
My Mum always said " One day your face will get stuck like that". She was right
i still dont understand the one with the boy touching himself made him blind... can someone explain??
something people used to say long ago to scare kids from masturbating, that they'd go blind if they overdid it. can you explain the eating sandwich crusts to me?
