I rode Helsinki Metro trains back in 2005 (Russian Broad Gauge 5ft + 2mm and 3rd rail for power), only the M100 and M200 were in service back then in their distinct dark orange colour with black pinstripe at the bottom. I mostly went on the 100 series. The 200 series you could sit within the entire 2 car portion, but the 100 series the carriages were individual. Usually 4 car sets, but sometimes 6 car sets during peak hours.

Just so you know the generic still exists and has not been removed. All thats happened is that they placed toilet in front of the corridor and it still works and exists because I went on it last Monday.

Actually all commuter trains are either diesel or electric. Electric trains serve the Greater Tallinn area routes (Harjumaa county) and diesel trains are meant for intercity routes. There are no bimodal commuter trains in Estonia.

Actualy, he says that katra trams have a new section. Well its not true, a part of the old trams already had it, they just got rebuilded as the other trams.

Ich krieg Ferneweh, wenn ich das seh - auch wenn mir die alten Trams besser gefallen haben dort, und die mittlerweile leider ausgemusterten Skoda 14tr Oberleitungsbusse. Hoffe, dieser Scheißdreckslockdown ist mal bald endlich vorbei. Ahjo und die alte 157 (bei 6:31) wird fast nur noch - wie auch in diesem Fall - zu Fahrschulzwecken eingesetzt, dafür hat man die nicht mehr umgebaut.
