I went to Disneyland/Disney World dozens of times between the mid 1970s and 2013 and there was NEVER a ride at either park that could touch Splash Mountain's whimsy, charm, and fun.

This is insane allegedly The splash mountain animatronics have been destroyed most of them came from America sings I can’t belive Disney destroyed these treasures for a quick buck they worke better then eny of the new crappy animatronics they have I wish they would’ve given them to the public to at least let them have a caring owner such a shame ☹️😞

It’s sad how they’re getting rid of all their classic classic rides and trying to alter the past as if it never happened. This was classic Americana and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Progress is achieved step by step. This was one of the steps that got us here. I suppose once their new films become obsolete and the message is no longer socially acceptable they’ll try to bury those as well. Song of the south was a good movie. I don’t care what anyone says.

The music going but not their voice lines kills me, are they not recorded in the same track? Maybe it's their voice boxes broken but you'd think they'd have a backup for that sort of thing.

After Sam Eagle bought a carousel theater from John in Tomorrowland in 1973 these incredible figures had their first debut on America Sings. After years of going round and round on the carousel, it was taken out of Sam's hands by Tomorrowland because they supposedly no longer attracted attention and Their attraction didn't make sense in such a futuristic place like Tomorrowland, so they were kicked out of there. They wandered around the park for several days until a Tony Baxter invited Sam and his cast to his new attraction Splash Mountain, Sam would accept but Tony would put the condition that he and Ollie would have to be changed skin and they would have to bother even if they didn't like it.. Sam would still accept and they would spend years inside the Splash until a certain Prince Naveen bought the mountain and all the critters wanted out. Now their possible whereabouts are unknown. Does anyone know where they all are now?

I'm confused, when did the footages for this video recorded and are these recordings before TPMvids' video? I know that this amazing video have much greater detail and multiple angles but I have notice that in the TPMvids' video, one fishing goose on the left side of the two barber geese at the start and the one stork at the laughin place is missing as well as Br'er Bear at the laughin place don't move much. I thought that TPMvids' video was recorded right before it got shut down which shows it in a more deteriorated condition than in this video.

I really love this rendition of Br'er Fox with his distinct long grey hair and tired confused facial expression instead of his typical menacing snarly face! He's like an old hillbilly in this version which fits his role against Br'er Rabbit!

Not since Indiana Jones have I seen so many things go wrong so many times in one ride.

This video is an unintentional campaign of why Splash Mountain should’ve never been removed in the first place! Thank you for making this video, love your channel BTW! ❤ I think Iger said it best “In order to fix a broken or problematic attraction, you gotta break it some more and make it even more problematic until it fixes itself” 😂

It’s nice to see people like you guys who keep the legacy of Splash alive. Disney will never fully hide Splash or SOTS away from fans. Thank you for this video.
