Приєднався 14 тра 2017
We are a family business based just out of Invercargill, New Zealand. At this stage we are starting out very small, just ordering a small quantity of gear so that we can get a feel for how things work. The products that we are aiming to sell are US or European made and imported by ourselves; products that are built to last, have a great reputation and good warranties, such as Leatherman, Surefire, Magpul, Lancer Systems, Colt, Ruger, Aero Precision and many more.

How much does IR light does an LED produce, I have the IR filter on mine which I use.
If you have a Sportac LED then you be able to get your hands on their IR 850nm LED Module drop-in
How do the LEDs affect the IR filter?
I was reading an old forum that might answer this question "white LEDs emit very little infrared light. Infrared filters will not produce an infrared beam when used with LEDs; the result will instead be *no* beam."
You won't get any ir you need incandescent for that or a straight ir led drop in which a few companies make i used kaidomain for my ir handheld build i have it on my channel
I want to test one of these on my kit
How do you change the batteries?
11.30
I've still got my original 6P and 9X from when I became a copper in 1996. They were good shit back then!! Much better lights available now, thankfully!
Why is it over $72 ...I mean is it because of the high price of fuel in Brandons America to heat treat the thing.
I see the price of fuel must have gone up...they're now US$102.58 on their website.
@@TacticalSouthnz Wow, that price of $72 was on Amazon. I just checked after reading this text and its still at $72. Stay Cool, the heat is on all over America.
thanks
can you do a review of the SOG Powerlock ?
Great review. Thanks for not going through the bushcraft demo. The knife was designed for exactly for what you ultimately relegated it to.
I own the MP600 and I can assure you it's far from the best. My Leatherman Wave Plus beats it in leaps and bounds.
I agree, the Wave is a much better multi-tool...but If I lost the MP600 in the middle of nowhere...who cares, not the same with the Wave
@@TacticalSouthnz Stating that losing it would be no loss isn't exactly the best endorsement.
@@Man_Cave I understand what you are saying, some places I go I wouldn't carry a NZ$320 multi tool (Wave plus)...which to me isn't a budget multi-tool.
i would like to have seen them each in action, maybe against a few different materials..
I would prefer not to have the finger choil on such a small blade.
For those of you who don’t know, this is the exact same blade profile and dimensions as the esee 3 which you can get really good sheaths for $15-18 so don’t let the bad sheath discourage you.
Where can i find sheaths
Yo, Tactical south. Do you keep deleting my reply to this dude? I’ve answered him 2 or 3 times already on where he can find the sheaths and they keep getting deleted. So just wondering if it’s you or YT. If it’s you, then why?
They have it in stock right now just bought one last week
Ease 3 Kydex sheath fits this knife and with the mount you can run it parallel to your belt and it is a better way to carry..
I have it nonserrated, its beautiful
Leatherman raptor rescue Heavy duty trauma sheers, strap cutter, oxygen wrench, glass breaker and a ring cutter
You did not let me down. I watched to learn how to remove battery.
Great knife plus if anything ever happens to it, Buck will repair or replace it for free.
how do i know which one i have, my armory gave me old ones they were getting rid of that still work.
Great video and review, I love my rat 3. A great edc

I carry the Gerber Dime everywhere. I used to carry the Leatherman Micra but I think the Dime is more useful, especially the scissors. This is a very small tool but I think it is perfect for around the house. By the way Gerber’s lifetime warranty is unbeatable. A few years ago I sent an old Leatherman multi tool in for servicing. The tool had been completely abused. It was broken, bent, and twisted every which way. Leatherman replaced the tool but sent a note saying there warranty is for 25 years. About this time one of the kids brought me a Gerber 600 DET back from Afghanistan after his first tour. I use it more than my Leatherman tools. I enjoyed your video about the Gerber 600.
I'm very familiar with PALS and MOLLE, and I also have a good understanding of ALICE. I've looked at these adapters many times (I get your regular email) and thought "what's the point?". It was not until this video that I saw the point. And now, I see the point. The name is the problem: it's really not a Kbar adapter at all, it's a belt-loop to MOLLE adapter. In my opinion, if you called it that, you'd sell more of them :) Thank you.
Actually theyre not “ chemlights” theyre little flashlights.
will this work with a M961?
No, the M961 runs a different bulb system (I own both)
@@TacticalSouthnz ah darn. In that case, what would you recommend for that light? running it on a shotgun personally.
Lumens Factory make some high power bulbs (they are also on ebay) www.lumensfactory.com/en/product.php?cid=14
Lumens Factory EO-M3 (9V, 380 Lumens) Extreme High Output Lamp Assembly
what was the upgraded 1400 lum head called?
SporTac P60 XHP35 Single LED Drop-in
Why no scissors?
My first multi-tool was a 400 then a 600, both blunt nose. Sadly they went needle nose to compete with Leatherman. The blunt nose is more of a work horse. I prefer the LM Wave/Charge/Surge line up but still pick up black 600s at airport sales.
I love my RAT 4. I carry it on my belt, scout style. It’s such a powerful tool! Completely indestructible, As you mentioned, it’s perfect size. Not too big, not too small. It also batons like crazy. I haven’t tried rhe RC 3. The sheath on the older version is waaaay better.proper kydex.
Great video. Just bought one. Already have the Five
I’ve brought a fair bit of twinneedle, especially when I was in the army. I also recently brought a plate carrier and rifle sling from them. Great gear
Thank you for this. Was issued one with no idea how to mount it!
I cant for the life of me figure out how to attach the molle carrying style. Your video has it on the picture and I was hoping it was a tutorial. Can you explain it for me?
I have put a short for you to check out
Just weave it through the molle loops. First through your bag or vest then back through the accessory your attaching ei sheath. Until you can continue no more then snap the button clasp
How long is battery life for each color?
those will fit in a esee 3 sheath im told and you should get in some ontario rat 5’s and rat7 the rat 5 is a 5” sabre grind and thicker then the rat 7 which is a 7” blade with flat grind
What Buck Knife is that ?
BUCK 847BO Vantage Force Pro with the black handle from a BUCK 845 Vantage Force
OKC does not do 90 degree spines. This is a big issue.
Nor does esee
Can you do a review on the SOG poweraccess deluxe ?
will look into it
Just bought one of these in the same color and a micra! Super excited to get it
Can the spare batteries be kept in the domed tubes it comes with ?
And do you happen to know how long they last if left on continuously?
Just checked and...no the batteries will not fit.
How about you demonstrate the actual flashlight holy shit

Thanks for your video, I am looking for replacement screws to fix the M50 mount. Do you know the thread size of M951?
Sorry I don't know, hopefully someone else can answer it for you
Can you please review the Terava jaakaripuukko? 110mm
Question? My RAT 3 is on the side of the knife like this one in the video, but others it's closer to the handle.. is mine fake?
OKC must have changed their markings from earlier models, I had these on back order for sometime from OKC, so these ones have just been manufactured.
The older ones did say "Rat 3 USA" down near the handle vs on the blade.
I have one that's about 10 years old and still going despite regular use. The beauty is its simplicity - built for general utility work. Works well as a fixed blade hiking knife. Nylon sheaths get a bad rap but this one is ok. I actually got a kydex one made up but summer in Australia just made the kydex too soft to use - no such issue with nylon (or leather if you go that way). Although prices are going up, this blade is still good value and easy to recommend. Take care.
Carried it in OIF 2004-2005. I took my Leatherman with me but MP-600 easier to use didn’t need to a lot maintenance or cleaning unlike my Leatherman the dirty conditions did it in.
I like that adapter! Very nice video! Would it be sturdy enough to mount a belt loop holster for a mid size revolver?
Hi Ross, here in New Zealand we can't carry bigger than a toothpick, but would think it might. Hopefully someone will give you a better answer.
Those Benchmade rescue hooks look the goods, just received mine for my IFAK. Thoughts on adding an emergency foil blanket against hypothermia? Seen others recommending them. Good job on getting in good USA made kit 👌
