This is my 11th gen civic si, and in today’s video I will be doing my best to teach first time manual owners on how to drive their car. Enjoy:)

Here’s my 2024 Honda civic si crystal black pearl. I’ve had the car for about 4 months and this is what I’ve done to it so far. I have many more things I’m going to be doing to the car and many more videos to follow along with it enjoy!!!! PRL INTAKE : www.twostepperformance.com/products/2022-1-5t-civic-2023-acura-integra-1-5t-short-ram-intake-system PRL Inlet pipe : www.twostepperformance.com/...
For this Gen the sonic grey is the best looking color for the civic Si or R type
Hey man, I’ve got a 2024 Black Civic Sport. I honestly would’ve gotten an SI if I knew how to drive manual, but I don’t so that being said are all the performance parts the same. I know it’s not a turbo car so sounds will be different..
Yes they are the same to a standard but you get more out of it as far as performance in the si
Why did I see the steering wheel wobble around 0:44?
Steering assist took over,I was going off the road
Could I get a install vid?
Maybe, I already installed I don’t want to take it apart to put it back on
L mans
Could u atleast lemme know where the three black peices go
The car rec matches on its own
Yeah if you want it too, but I like to do it myself
I did the exact same thing, brother. Watched videos, ordered the car, watched videos, received the car, watched videos, drove the car, watched videos, drove the car more often lol 22,000 miles later.. still loving it. I’m still watching videos every so often, just for my own comparisons.
Right on
Does any of the mods void the warranty? The dealer keeps saying yes and no, such as a short ram intake.
No some things don’t, i took my car with the inlet, and short ram and they didn’t say anything
Outstanding manual transmission in the SI. I have been driving MTs for many years and in my opinion, the civic has one of the best ones out there.
I was fortunate that my dad had a manual Mazda pickup to teach me on when I was 15. Most Americans now have no access to a manual car to learn on because they’ve become so rare. It does feel like you have a skill few people have. I test drove a Civic Si and the salesman had me pull it out and park it again because he couldn’t drive it.
Yeah that’s good, I learned from my pops as well
Nice build. Its nice to see the Si get some love. Type Rs are cool and all but to see a channel dump 10s of thousands of dollars to a type R in 5 episodes is nothing special. Slow builds are more my type. Keep the content coming
You need to build that engine if you're going to increase the power. Owners out there doing simple bolt ons and a level 1 tune have blown their engine. Do your research on the L15CA. Plenty of reputable engine builders advising against modifying this car. Weakest points are rods, rod bolts, head studs, head gasket, and clutch. I also own a 2024 and it will remain stock unless I decide to fully build the engine. I agree fun car to drive.
That’s what I’ve seen too, I think I’m going to just do the PRL intercooler and call it a day
Hell yea, stick shift for life. I bought the 2024 sport touring hatchback.
Do I need to brake or just use the clutch in heavy traffic when traffic is moving at 2-7 mph?
Just be in first and focus on your clutch
i don’t know how to drive manual but i have the confidence to drive manual now thank to you i really appreciate it
Glad I could help man
Been driving my FL5 since November so why am I watching this? Idk....fellow Honda drivers just seem chill for the most part🤣 Good Job with the video! You explained it very nicely!
Right on!! Thank you appreciate it, all love with Honda
So clean
I did exactly that in my 8th gen I said why is it idling so low oh shit I took off in third
That tint is illegal hope you like tearing it off every year
Dude what who are you 🤣, I’ve never had to peel this tint ever and i live in Florida. No cop has ever pulled me over for my tint, your speaking a whole lot of nonsense
@Yeidisson11thgensi oh so your saying there is no tint law in Flordia? Your so full of of it it's 32 percent
@Yeidisson11thgensi just look up tint law in Florida which also Means it won't pass safety check idiot
Watch out the 1.5 turbo burns oil bad. Don't get this engine
Nah that’s where your wrong, I’ve had the car more than 5 months and I park on the same spot on my drive way, no leaks on the floor, I do an engine inspection no leaks from hoses nor the engine itself, and the oil temp is fine and I let the car warm up and cool down after driving.
@@Yeidisson11thgensi you only had it for 5 months watch when you have it for 2 years. You keep arguing with a man who has worked for Honda for 25 years.
Lesson number 1 and the only one, real drivers drives manual gear box
Good video I put my intake in about 2 weeks ago and I’m loving it can’t wait to get that down pipe in bro u got me itching to get it now😂
Dude get it yolo
Nice! I have the 2022 Si. Awesome car
Keep em coming bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice video!! I recently traded in my 2018 black civic si for a 2024 black civic si. I like the carbon fiber inlets but personally I like the piano black ones it comes with stock. I would love to add the short ram intake and other parts you added your car sounds amazing!!!
I definitely think you will be fine at 300 plus ✌️
More then enough
Love the tails, us hatchback people suffer with no choices but tinting for now lol. Keep posting - Peace from NJ!
Have you done an oil change yet? I just got an Si on Sunday. I love the thing.
I have about a year and a half worth of free oil changes, but I change it myself every now and then and then go to the dealership
Just picked one up and I love it. Good video.
Awesome video! Question, where did you get the carbon fiber interior pieces?
Amazon
Videos sideways would you be able to flip it?
I have a 2024 black si myself 😎 from research that I did it will be best to upgrade the clutch that way you can get it to go faster.
Would you consider getting the Cold Air conversion kit for the PRL intake or would you stick with the short ram intake? I hear these cars get pretty bad heatsoak after only a couple of pull with a short ram. Havent decided on an intake system for mine yet. 10th gen… but still all gery similar.
Great video 👍🏼
Great video man, i would love to see more content with the Si
More videos 😭😭
🐐
What tune did you get? Also is it 230 crank or 230 wheel your pushing?
Sorry, the Type R is $44,750 MSRP. Some dealers mark them up but you can find them MSRP. I like the Si, great fuel mileage.
I wanna do the titanium inlet too but I’m running the PRL 10th gen cobra intake it’s a smaller diameter on the inlet tube.
Yeah bro the 11th gen has rev matching. You're doing all that blips for no reason
I’m doing it for the experience if I wanted to be lazy I’d turn auto rev matching on
@@Yeidisson11thgensi no said you were lazy. But I can see the arrogance in the text. Good luck
I thought this generation si had rev matching?
It does. But you can turn it on or off depending on if you like to do it manually.
My 2018 Si had heated seats…
A couple of things i don't like about the 24 SI is the waste gate rattle, when going low speeds in 1, 2, 3 or when decelerating at any speed less than 50 mph. Also you can feel every bump, I get its designed for the track but adaptive suspension would have been an awesome feature
bought my 2019 Type R for 45,000 with 35K miles on it , then I bought my 2020 Si for 28,000 with 30,000 miles on them not gonna lie I love both the same but for sure finna build the SI and keep the R stock to trade it in for a bmw M4 competition
Homie doxxed himself should probably blur the gps at the end of the vid
I drove 2 hours away from where I live for the vid :)
I bought and built a 22 11th gen SI myself. Ended up getting 319 to the wheels with a ton of mods. Good luck with your build
Thank you sir we’ll see soon, you have a list of what you have?
@@Yeidisson11thgensi sold the car last year. To many head issues with the motor.
Can't start in 3rd? This is how I know you really are new to manual.
32,000$ with 0 miles here great car civic si love the handles of the car it’s fun
Heck yeah!! Enjoy it
tasteful mods brother, do you hear the intake every time you climb rpms? or is it only when you're past a certain point? looking to get one myself but i just don't want anything too obnoxious yk
Like 3 thousand rpms, if your not hitting the gas hard it won’t be obnoxious or loud unless you want it to be, it’s to your liking
Where did you get the interior carbon pieces ?
Amazon
