Trunks was one of the most ambitious introductions to anime period. He was a complete surprise, powerful and mysterious and when his origin is revealed, it came with a terrible warning that turned the story on its head. Goku dies of a virus and everyone else is killed by two merciless androids, leaving only a young teenage Trunks left to carry the fight. He was outmatched and on the run, even as a supersaiyan, which had just been established as the pinnacle of strength. The next few years are spent preparing for these monsters, Vegeta remains a frenemy for the time being, but everyone is invested in changing the dark future that Trunks warned them of. It is an incredible twist and new beginning. Remember the story was suppossed to end with Frieza, but people wanted more. I would say Toriyama delivered and gave us one of the greatest sagas ever told.

The demon realm is not bad as it's inhabitants could be good but it's a place or world where evil is more used. It is located at the bottom of living world within universe 7. The kais are not able to reach it and core people born evil is sent to the demon realm. The demon realm is said to have three parts and has at least five different inhabitants. Demon realm race, orges, demons, nekemians, and mijins. The demon realm is ruled by the King. There is also a bigger power that uses ancient or dark power and known as the dark empire. The ruler is known as the dark king and said to outrank the demon realm King. The demon realm also has a supreme kia who is known as demon supreme kia.

and in episode 2 they said that not ALL pointy eared races are from the demon realm

Future Trunks says androids will invade on May 12, 3 years from age 764. He said he was 17 and came from 20 years in the Future. Chozenshu says an unspecified day in August is when Future Trunks and Goku meet. He says he will be born 2.5 years from when he warns them. This should be roughly February 767.. But this doesn't work for present Trunks. Or even Future Trunks as I'll show below. Chozenshu says Trunks was born in age766. He is 8 years old in Boo arc. Chozenshu also says that on May 7, 774 Budokai takes place. March 28 is the earliest listed date in 774 from Chozenshu. It says Gohan enrolled in Orange County High. Since Trunks is 8 in Boo arc, he was born before March 28, 766 but after January 1, 766. Yamucha wished for all the people who died that day (except bad ones) be revived. Dende then says save the other 2 wishes and the balls will only be stone for 4 months. Chozenshu says September 7, 774 is when Shenlong erases memories of Boo. The second wish is to make Boo good as there would be 2 wishes left since Yamucha only used 1. Dragon Balls would be stone at least 8 months. Meaning they would be stone until May 7 of 775. So Daima episode 1 takes place after January 1, 775 but before March 28 775. Since Future Trunks meets Goku in August of 764, Trunks saying he is born 2.5 years from then actually puts him born in February of Age 767. This means he was either mistaken and meant under 2.5 years (no more than 2 years 4 months) or Future Trunks was born later than Present Trunks. Since I think they're both supposed to be the same and February seems to sync up well, I'm placing Daima Episode 1 in February of Age 775.

Also you forgot to mention yo son Goku and his friends returns the OVA that takes place 2 years after the Majin Buu Arc that also means that it takes place a year after daima some people does not consider it Canon but I do with other people

DAIMA isn’t his “last work” in the letter where his estate announces his passing they state that toriyama had “several projects” that he was actively working on. So whatever emails, notes, and art that he left is what they will use to continue Dragon Ball.

At first i thought they were bringing gt characters in at first i thought this because of super how universe 6 and 7 had a small tournament and in the end Beerus used the wish to give universe 6 a clone of earth and maybe how trunks was going back and forth from future to past to effect the current timeline but in the end it wouldn’t make much sense
