I love to collect Furbies! So far I've got a 2012 Furby, A Furby Boom, a Furby Connect, 4 of the 2012 Furby party rockers, and a furbling. I'm hoping to get in 1998 Tiger Electronics Furby soon and hopefully get my hands on a 2005 one
It was much better than the final product. This voice was the best and the fact that you don't need to say "Hey Furby" all the time makes it great for a more natural interaction.
You know what's really interesting? You can hear the actual gears of the 1998 furby running when the prototype here speaks; what's that all about, I wonder? 😮 And they don't sound like they're coming from a speaker or a certain area in the room, they sound edited-in to me; it makes me wonder where on Earth this demonstration was filmed, as I don't think Furby here would be presented at a toy fair moving without a word to speak in a conpletely quiet room 🤔 perhaps this video was also done by a toy designer who also built the furby, and the demonstration was made to show exexutives at Hasbro to see if it'd get greenlit! But then, why wouldn't they just make this demonstration happen in real life at Headquarters instead of film it with seemingly edited-in sound clips? I have quite a few questions on this video, so to speak! I'm not thinking too hard though because I know there won't be much for answers, as the uploader probably isn't even the person who filmed this demo, but it's still fun to think of things; think of why, and how something like this came to be!
It doesn't just sound edited; it looks edited too. I suspect they used a bit of CGI like they did with the OG Furby commercial lmao. Do you see how he basically doesn't touch the Furby at all but the sensors still detect him feeding/(not even) touching his belly? Lol. Not in a million years. You'd really have to press down.
The Emototronic Furby is an adorably horrifying thing. This prototype is cuter, and I love the fluffy body and ears, but I don't know who decided flesh-tone beaks/feet/eyelids was a great idea, especially rubber that would obviously wear out or rot over time...if it'd been a yellow rubber for the beak and fur-tone eyelids and whatnot it'd be a lot better but yeesh. I want one for my collection but I'd probably put a sheet over it at night so it doesn't freak me out lol Also why's the guy feeding it...like that?
Alguien está acá en el 2024?
It has the 1998 voice
Damm this video is old
The early 2005 Furby prototype
1:00 The facial features on the prototype were better😭🙏
uh oh-furby 2004
Awesome..
I think they sorta made the 2005 version, but rather inserted the 1998 voice chip or something like that. Or something… Idk.
I WANT THE PROTOTYPE SO BADLY IT'S ADORABLE 😭😭😭
Really interesting this prototype kinda had eyebrows in a way
I like how they just used the 1998 furby voice
:D😊
SCARY AND IS FAKE
Is real
I prefer this one over the actual 2005 furby, this one is much cuter, besides the 2005 furby they released sounds depressed this one sounds adorable!.
I think they wanted the sounds to sound more original since the noises are reused
I love
It sounds like twinky winky.
awwww
the ears 😍😍❤
:)
Is early prototype
Fun Fact: the Prototype Furby 2005 reuses the voicelines from 1998 Furby
I bet you didn’t know this, but this was a prototype Honestly, I can see why they changed it
Cute 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
he's so cute!! :P
Furby >:(
It's been 2 months since I commented on this video and I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE 2005 FURBY
yo
They’re kinda cute. Idk about the eyebrow movement tho.
If the furby 1998 and furby 2005 both combined this would be at
I'm curious how would the two motors wrk here? 🤔
Yea I have every Furby except this one I'm begging my mum for it!!!!!! ❤❤
It's a prototype sir
I used to think that these prototypes are large but no but those prototypes are realistic
It’s fake
It's a prototype
I hope this guy is still out in the world and not destroyed, he’s so cute!
It’s so sad how many furbies are destroyed, when there are thousands of people who would give them a great home.
@@BilliamH How do you know they’re destroyed? It’s probably in someone’s attic, not thrown away.
@@Silvia.Araujomy sisther used to have a 2005 furby when she was 8 and she threw it to the walls and floor and she peeled off the skin of the beak💀
@@BilliamHS I M P (jk I like jon)
@@Silvia.Araujoa lot of prototypes (not just for furbies) are simply thrown away after they’re done being used
yes
Hasbro would have done a lot better if they released this version!
Is this official is this a prototype of the hey furby
Yes it's a 2005 prototype

I got 2 2005 baby Furbys, a lot of furby connects, and 4 2005 furbys, and 2 1998 baby furbys.
1 Christmas furby boom
1 2012 furby

They likely recorded the dialogue clips from an actual Classic Furby and loaded the recordings into the prototype Emot-Tronic Furby..

I think its supposed to be making fun of the toy named "Furbish" because of the beak.
Nope. This is the prototype 2005 Furby, it just had a weird beak.
@@ShowbizPizzaGlobal oh ok.

it’s A prototype 2005 Furby
