@@danoc4073 Well, according to the novel he does know. And he pretends it doesn't because, in a way, he'd rather not think that his choices affect things. If Shadow Garden exists, and he purposefully knows, then his fantasies will have more weight upon his decisions. Best to pretend most of it is on his head.
