I actually only charge up to 50% on the weekdays and 80% on the weekends. Sometimes 90% if I have to drive far in the Winter. I've charged 12,993kWh (87%) at home and 1,909kWh (13%) at Superchargers. I've only charged it to 100% 48 times in the past 2 years for road trips and 48 out of 500+ charges isn't that much. @EverydayChris who also reached 50k miles noticed a 10% degradation also. That's why I mentioned that a Model S Long Range would be perfect for me personally since its got a 648km EPA (~570km realistic) range so even at 80%, 450+kms would be more than enough for me. Lol if I leased my Tesla, I'd have doubled my mileage limit at the end of my term 😛

With M sport, the diffuser is removable with just 6 bolts. Without M sport, the rear bumper is just one whole piece. You'll need a whole new msport bumper with 340i diffuser or if you're comfortable, cut holes on your existing bumper.

Is your harness plugged in properly? Did you transfer the module from your 230i or did you use the module from the 340i muffler?

North American & early 2018 model. No particulate filters nor tunes.

You kinda get used to it when you’re on your own but I was quite embarrassed when I was giving people a ride. A tune may help cause the engine will technically be “less stressed” but I believe going catless will probably make it even louder+raspier. Though I have a friend with an M240i that’s catless and straight piped which sounds just fine because the 6-cylinder sound frequency has more treble than bass

Firstly, if you have a 228i/230i, you’re gonna have to find a M235i/M240i muffler. I found one in Kijiji that had 100k kms for only $150. Low mileage ones go for around $300-$600 and MPerformance ones go for around $600-$1200. Then, you’re gonna have to find a diffuser to fit the symmetrical dual exit exhaust. I got mine at RacingBees for $450. I got my secondary cat and resonator deleted at GT Customs in Pickering. There are 2 locations: a satellite one in Brock Road and the main one at 1600 Alliance Rd. I went to the main one. Look for Matt. The secondary cat is a weird, bent, oval shape and only Matt can fabricate one. Cost me $250. I got the carbon fibre tips in Amazon but I’m pretty sure GT Customs has a selection of tips. Lastly, no, there is ZERO drone in any modes (Eco - Sport+) when cruising on the highway at any speeds.

For F22 to F30, you’re gonna have to cut the current hangers off and weld new ones in a further position. Also may have to get an adapter for the inlet size

Did manage to fit it ? Im looking to buy an m235i muffler too and I want to know if it fits . are they not all the same size and fit ?

On M-Sport F-series BMWs, you can easily change the diffuser (the bottom grey part of the bumper) I just like symmetry. The space in the bottom and the hangers are the same as the 35i/40i cars

I will soon be instaling a catless downpipe and straight piping it down to my m235i muffler x) cant wait to upload some clips, i bought a microphone too haha, I cant seem to find too many videos of the b46/b48 sound clips

Jean Dandrea The B48/B58 has 2 catalytic converters; one in the middle of the exhaust and another right after the turbo (downpipe). I just took the one off in the middle. There are no harnesses plugged in to it so no check engine lights. Planning to go catless next year.

Javier Serrano López Unfortunately not; but if you look at my resonator delete video back in August 11, 2019, its basically the same thing other than that brown box just before the centre brace is now a straight pipe also.

Only sometimes. I noticed its almost guaranteed to pop if I downshift going below 60km/h

Brulpijpfanaat Yes, my down pipe is still stock. Removing the Secondary Cat will not cause any Check Engine Lights but removing the Primary Cat will. With regards to carbon deposits, I’m not so sure. Here in Ontario, Canada, our province abolished passenger vehicle emissions control so we no longer have any emission standards/testings anymore.

Brulpijpfanaat Yes, as much as I miss the volume of the muffler delete, it had unbearable drone daily driving on stop-and-go traffic and shifting before 3k rpm. I like the symmetrical look with my diffuser and I couldn’t find a used M235i/M240i muffler but I found a stock 435i one and removed the Y-pipe and resonator instead. I’m planning on deleting the secondary cat next week so stay tuned! If I’m still not satisfied, then I might internally modify and gut the insides of the stock muffler and I’m done.

ildrichaseron thanks for the message :) The reason that I asked is because I have a BMW f20 with also the B48 engine. I am planning on to buy a M performance muffler. I was also thinking about a Y pipe and was wondering about the drone noise. So at the moment you have a catless downpipe aswell? 2nd cat is still in place and then resonator delete and finally at the end a 435i muffler? Thanks for the response:) from the Netherlands

Brulpijpfanaat My loud, obnoxious vtec straight pipe friends didn’t mind my drone but coming from a Corksport Mazda3, I couldn’t tolerate it. As of now, its got stock its primary cat, stock secondary cat, resonator delete and stock 435i muffler. Deleting the secondary cat shouldn’t show a check engine light but deleting the primary will. If I consider getting a tune, then I might consider getting a primary cat delete. Greetings from Canada! Great to know my videos are going overseas!

Collin Rausch I bought an M240i diffuser from RacingBees. That grey part on the bumper can be easily removed with just 6 screws. Just had the muffler cut off from the rear axle and did a Y-Pipe. There’s no drone cruising but there is when pulling from a stop and shifting before 3k rpm. I only recommend this if you don’t do a lot of stop and go traffic.

Not really, no. Just a noticeable increase in sound but not too much. Its like turning your speaker volume from 40% to 55%. Planning to do a secondary cat delete.
