it seems like a good thing that it only gets 1 spell at level 1 if it's tier 5 spells are the craziest, but also the Destined + Omen combo is kind of like it always has extra miscellaneous spells for general self-buffing.

i actually like that the magic ninja is like the low-risk/low-reward version of the thief. on top of mechanically providing a different playstyle for someone who likes the thief concept but likes to play it safe, it fulfills a specific fantasy that could not be done with the thief class. also provides a port of gloomstalker/arcane trickster from 5e.

You can adjust the style of the hyperlinks if you want them to still be functional but not so drastically different visually to help your layout look more consistent.

You've for sure put my eye on Shadowdark. Ive run a very much altered Claws of Madness game and considering converting it to shadowdark as i feel the eldritch horror vibe it gives really fits this rpg. Great content 💪

Nice! I do think you should keep "boxes" on a single page, so for example monster-text shouldn't spill over on the next page.

Took some of your changes to heart and am preparing to run Banquet again on roll20 this Monday. Gave the vomit spawn a new ability that washed away PCs failing str saves, and gave the Gulubus a new statblock in the spirit of Flee Mortal's 'solo/leader' statblocks. Kept the rats as I feel they are thematic, but drawing a blank on the maggots. I LOVE the idea of adding better stakes to the exorcism, I've always ran the maggot encounter after, and sometimes had a vomit spawn targeting only Mortimer. Having them during the exorcism trying to stop it is a great idea! What changes did you make to the maggots? Imo they are big bags of hit points who literally stink.

The amount of work that went into this adventure is really impressive.

How can you make a video on Stock an not mention J.E. Shields?

This is super useful. Thank you! I had no idea some of this stuff was affordable. I recognized several pieces from some publishers that I love, like Raging Swan. As I've mentioned in a previous comment, I'm currently writing a Shadowdark module as well. I have an artist friend who is doing some of the art for me and some other bits and pieces that I have from a kickstarter, but your recommendations open up a whole new world of art for me. Good stuff, man.

This was very informative and cool. I still like my approach of finding creative people and giving them a cool outlet for their original compositions. But this is cool too for down the line if anyone gets overloaded. Also I can't wait to see what you write William!

Dean Spencer has a patreon that if you plan on using a lot of his stock art, is more than worth it. It's a great way to support him. Also Adobe Stock has a huge free section from which you can download three images a day. Some nice hidden gems in that catalog.

2 years ago, Dean made a "free art piece" per day for the whole December. It was sooooo good. Sadly, I don't use Twitter anymore so dunno if they still do that

ran this one shot the other day, it went fantastic. only two people died. they killed the dusk queen and were slain by her basilisk.(i may have made some small changes). The survivors took to the door in the well and ended in a vast cavern underdark with their fate unknown.

I hadnt dreamed of doing this, i normally create map and dungeon at same time but hand drawn. I am trying to create my first professional looking dungeon and I keep getting stuck. Using a white screen to brainstorm has totally unblocked me!! I use Powerpoint instead of Canva as its my usual flow chart drawing software for work.

I'm really enjoying this series. Thanks again.
